Not that it makes it any less frustrating...
It means the differnce between a good mood and a bad mood...which is totally ridiculous when, as you say they are meaningless.0 -
I know, it very much effects me as well, stupid clothes, stupid labels, stupid mind games.

Maybe, but sometimes the comfort itself of knowing you're going o be taken care of an can relax a bit makes one feel better.0 -

sorry to hear about your dress lost, I hate it when labels say one thing and my body says another. I'm a 10 and I've got clothes 8, 10 and 12 which fit, and recently even bought a size 14 dress because of the way it fitted. Very annoying
Have fun baking daisy*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150 -

It's not rediculous, numbers often have a huge impact on my self esteem and mood for that day, when I used to weigh myself every day (weight obsessed freak) it would set the mood for the rest of my day, same with dress sizes. Thankfully I only weigh once a month now so I don't have to do that dance every day. Morning ladies,
I too have clothes ranging from an 8 to a 16 and I am measuring a 12. It feels amazing to get in a small size but when you have to buy larger then it sends me rushing to the scales worrying i've put some weight back on.
Daisy and Lola enjoy your baking... something i miss since my DH is a coeliac and my oven still isn't mended:o.
My daughter phoned this morning and said her and her friend had an early night and she seemed okay, so hoping it was nothing too bad happening in her life.
