I think we'll be eating lamb for a while yet Queen, my friend rears them and we picked up a whole one last week so it's lamb, lamb and more lamb on the menu :p I dlo love beef though, actually I like all meat and I've even been known to eat crocodile  (very much like chicken)

You got some great bargains today Queen, I love the cardi's !

I've got a quick question for all of you ....... jewellery (costume) how do you clean the silver coloured chains? Some of mine have gone a bit 'green/yellow/brown' ..... ugh ! Any ideas or shall I just chuck the chains?

Line an overproof tray or pyrex dish with baking foil, shiny side uppermost, lay your silver or silver-coloured jewellery on top, sprinkle on a teaspoonful of baking powder and pour boiling water over. Leave for about 1 hour, remove and polish. Works every time!

Can I join in please? I love reading everyone's blogs and posts, but I've been a bit lax with my own appearance recently- having a baby then breastfeeding will do that for you! But, I have lots of nice clothes and accessories. I'm pretty back to my pre-baby size (except my chest, but not a lot I can do about that for now) so I need to stop wearing the same clothes day in, day out.

    Today's outfit is-

Jeans- Asda, £8 but they are surprisingly nice
    White long sleeve top- DP
Short-sleeve long grey cardi- Peacocks, £16
Black Ballet Pumps with Bow Detail- Next, £40
    Oversized Sunglasses- Next, £10
Brown Leather Across the Body Radley, Debenhams, £80
Sparkley Grey and Pink Scarf, Primark, £3

    Welcome :D

Oh back to being blue with cold after visiting my grandparents, clearly this is a new party trick of mine
Picked up a piece of haddock and some courgette and butternut squash and my Mum is going to make my dinner tonight, they are so pleased we can have a family night!
  • yay daisy, hope you enjoy your family dinner. warmer weather is on the way in the next month or so...so the blue tinge will pass soon xx

£5?! Wow, the most basic manicure here is £12. I live in the wrong area.
  • that doesn't include a full manicure, that's just for a shape and colour, there are lots of nail bars in Nottingham and £5 seems to be the going rate, I think it's about £15 if you have a manicure etc. Good thing is that it lasts all week or a good 5 days, and they use OPI (?) who do a fab range of colours
