  • good idea daisy, I might just do that :)

I too can feel self conscious in tights alex, esp if I'm wearing a short dress/skirt which isn't often due to the self conscious issue...if that makes sense you deserve an award lol

    It does make sense :)

I think it's the "oh my god, what if the wind blows my skirt up?" issue? Leggings, well, the area is a bit better covered. With tights (unless they're super woolly) my knickers are probably still going to be visible and nobody wants to see that!
  • um after trying on the topshop ditsy top thing I bought this morn at carboot I will be ebaying cos it's a bit too big for me :( and the kookai cardi might be going too cos it's a bit big too but I'm going to have a play about with it to see if I can find an outfit that it works with. Ah well some you win some you lose

Same here with leggings v tights, I probably won't wear my shorter ones in the summer and get the fake tan out for the others.

    Todays outfit:
RIJeans which due to weight loss keep falling down and are driving me mad but can't go into the next size down due to the muffin top:o
Red tshirt with sweet cherries on the front from Matalan few quid in the sale last year.

  • hurah for your weight loss lola, I know what you mean about muffin top, I'd much rather wear trousers/jeans too big :D

very true daisy, and at 50p I'm not complaining :D At least both my leopard print cardi's fit so I'll be starting to wear normal length cardi's instead of living in my boyfriend ones all the time. And I've got (more) new boots which always make me happy
