Was going to ask you...what's the best way to find out about jumble sales? I doubt I'll be able to find anything smack bang in the city centre but I'm just wondering how I'd find out where they are other than keeping an eye out in the local paper?*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150 -

Queen - I put it into the search engine on the computer - jumble sale... and then put in a town / location and this tends to bring them up, can be a bit time consuming sometimes but after the bargains I've been picking up lately its well worth it.0

Other than the local classifieds on-line I tend to have a nose round, checking newsagent windows and the noticeboards outside of church halls and community centres. There's no comprehensive website (which is probably a good thing as everyone would be going and snaffling our bargains first).
After I've been to a jumble I always ask one of the helpers when the next one is, as they usually plan them for the whole year.0 -

Wow, brilliant...can I come and live with you? :T I'll be expecting daily blog updates with all your cool finds.
Another website that I rather like is:
http://www.carbootjunction.co.uk/
If there's a number it's often worth ringing before you set off as the info isn't always the most up to date.0 -

Can I join in please? I love reading everyone's blogs and posts, but I've been a bit lax with my own appearance recently- having a baby then breastfeeding will do that for you! But, I have lots of nice clothes and accessories. I'm pretty back to my pre-baby size (except my chest, but not a lot I can do about that for now) so I need to stop wearing the same clothes day in, day out.
Today's outfit is-
Jeans- Asda, £8 but they are surprisingly nice
White long sleeve top- DP
Short-sleeve long grey cardi- Peacocks, £16
Black Ballet Pumps with Bow Detail- Next, £40
Oversized Sunglasses- Next, £10
Brown Leather Across the Body Radley, Debenhams, £80
Sparkley Grey and Pink Scarf, Primark, £3:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Afternoon lovely ladies
,
Just sitting down for a while before I cook dinner (roast lamb, yummy!)
We're not going down the allotment as it's too cold ! Went to DS football match this morning (they lost bless them) so jeans, boots and several jumpers and a woolly hat were the order of the day.
I've come back to jogging bottoms and hoody jumper I'm afraid - comfort over style today.
I think I might have a sort out of all my make up once the spuds are peeled, I'm sure I've got some things that I've used up and my eye pencils need sharpening etc. I shall have to see if I've got a nice basket/pot to put it all in as it's all shoved in a make up bag at the moment and I'm always scrabbling round trying to find things.
