Hello Ladies. I apologise that I have not been contributing to this thread lately, but I have been reading it and keeping up with all your news. I hope DB, especially, is doing well.
I have not been "feeling" the whole clothes thing lately and have been wearing the same old, same old, jeans trousers and tops. I think its a lack of confidence that prevents me trying out new things, the thought of people thinking "who does she think she is"! Daft I know.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows wher I can get that tape from that you stick your clothes to your skin to stop them gaping?Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -
Ohh eck, I'm just having my first adventures with dylon. Just had to share because it is clothes and money saving. Two stained white broderie anglais tops and one underworn sundress are going black. I'm quite nervous:beer:0

The black lot has worked well. Put an empty cycle through the machine and am now doing a hooded top and a stained old Clash t shirt 'antique grey'. I hope the machine recovers. Might avoid doing a white wash for a day or two:beer:0 -
I've used black dylon with some success too.
Good morning everybody. This morning the sun is out and the skies are clear and blue again. I was ill through the night and so Having done the critters (late) I'm crawling back to bed with an ill advised coffee for some extra time with my legs up. I'm going out today and I'm torn between very practical jeggings/trousers or a dress. I'm pretty sure the dress will win, but I expect to do lots of walking and trainers seem like such a great idea. What ever I choose I'm not going to wear much jewelery, maybe even just my wedding ring and no earrings at all! and make up will be as light is its possible for my makeup to be.0 -

hmm. whilst i;m not a big maxi-dress wearer, due to the fact i don't think i'm tall enough for them, i personally would prefer to wear them with gladiators or sandals. maybe some nice jewelled ones?
are you meaning for daytime or evening wear?? what kind of maxi? if it's dressed up for partying etc, maybe a pair of heeled sandals..0
