Thanks, hon!
I've always wondered how other people manage to cope in these situations as I never thought I would. I guess you just find inner strength somehow. I'm just hoping I don't unravel afterwards....0 -

Thats good to hear.
I like the dress too and i hope you feel a bit better after a rest lost.
I dyed a skirt antique grey once but it just looks black to me. It was a pure cotton one so that's probably why. It came out nicer on some jeans.
I am trying out my £6 peacocks sandles today which are comfy but would probably have been better a size bigger. Bizzarely my feet seem to have grown recently from a size 4-5 to 5-6. Sandles make me feel like it's summer even when the weathers dull0 -
Goan I will be thinking of you tomorrow, it won't feel like it now but you will get through it and you have people around you to help you through this afterwards. I hope you are able to take lots of comfort from tomorrow xx
I am glad for the updates from Daisy, thanks PF. I am not in touch with her by phone so it's really good to hear, she is in my thoughts alot too.You can stand there and agonize........

Goan, I've been imagining you in some incredibly stylish black widow sort of outfit but I bet anything out of your fabulous wardrobe will look great. Are you going for colour? Will be thinking of you tomorrow.0

I got dressed this morning and for a change thought I looked ok;
black linen wide leg trousers, with a ditsy floral black, blue, red, green frilly blouse, and some bright red and grey hispanitas.
Fast forward one hour and I was coming along the corridor this morning at work when I noticed that the toilets had flooded and it was creeping its way up my corridor, so I popped into the office next door to warn the man in there and I slipped and poured a full cup of tea all over myself! I mean all over, my hair was dripping wet, my already see through blouse became transparent and I was discovered on my hands and knees at this poor blokes door! So I am now sat here with wonky crispy hair, makeup mostly gone and a tea stained shirt with scrunched up pants, I could have cried, but laughed instead, at least my new cup bounced and didn't smash. You can stand there and agonize........

Thanks for the update on daisy, glad she is doing ok.
Goan will be thinking of you tomorrow. Have been through it, lost my lovely Mum 7 years ago.
Def no trainers or uggs with my maxi, promise!

Hi girls, hope you're all OK, good to hear that Daisy is doing well.
Been incredibly busy with new job. Loving it though - and the fact that I get to dress up a bit more! Today I'm in dark grey trousers, light grey top, jade cardigan, long necklace in jade/ brown/ orange, and new glasses (actually got sent the wrong ones but they are nicer than my old ones!).
I work dangerously close to a Boots shop though - lunch deals and make-up keep calling me!

Not sure, yet, Alex. Definately OTT glamour-mafioso widow-scary goth!
I've got a (very short) black lace dress with frilly bracelet length sleeves. I'm thinking of black opaques, 6inch black patent heels with concealed platforms and a vintage patent clutch.
Reckon my hair in a semi-beehive speared through with a black feather trimmed hairstick. Not sure about jewellery, obviously nothing too rattly.
I've been to my parent's house and unearthed my Great-great Grandmother's mourning jacket (about 1870ish) which is midnight blue taffeta trimmed with black velvet and complete with jet trimmed bustle. It's a perfect fit so I'm wondering whether to wear that, too?
My best pal's got a 1940's black frock to wear complete with a cropped black fur-trimmed jacket and 50's lace winklepickers.
Mum adored glamour so reckon she'll be proud!0 -
