gah, thats so frustrating...if you can't find one, i got it in a 12 if that's any good (although i haven't tried it on yet, so i'm hoping it's nto the wrong size as well :S )...?
  • The washing machine seems to have survived last night's dylon efforts and I am rather pleased with my 'new' clothes
    Thats good to hear.
I dyed a skirt antique grey once but it just looks black to me. It was a pure cotton one so that's probably why. It came out nicer on some jeans.

it's a very very very dark grey, if I hadn't already dyed stuff black, I'm not sure I'd be able to tell the difference. However my beloved 'The Clash' t shirt is now restored to some sort of glory and my lovely white cami-tops have got a new lease of life.

Glad to hear Daisy is doing well. Goan - will be think of you tomorrow and your glamourous Mum xxx

    Me today:
Blue and white sundress - Superdry
Cream silk and lace cami - thrifted
    cream cardigan - thrifted
    brown woven belt - thrifted
No shoes because I haven't left the flat :)

    I've been Money Tipped!
I hope to find some time tomorrow to write to daisybella.

Goan I love the sound of your funeral outfit. So you, which is probably what your mother would have wanted! Don't be afraid to fall apart afterwards, do what is right for you. Grief is so individual and fighting it won't help. If you need to lock yourself up for three days to kick and scream: do it. if going on as normal keeps you sane: do it.

I've got to drive up to London AGAIN this week, but not a glamourous location this time, but rather croyden. I did point out that it might provide opportunity to go to tk max, iirc there is a big one around there somewhere, but I'm not sure I'll get the opportunity.

Afternoon everyone, need a bit of a catch up! I've been working lots and i'm a bit fuzzy brained.

Good luck tomorrow Goan, i'll be thinking of you.

I'd love to see a swallow print dress that was mentioned above. There is a lovely swallow print bikini in Asda but I can't get it as I have a swallow tattoo that'd be on show in a bikini!

Bought a nice black and white check dress and a beach bag in Primark today.

Not much to update in my life, my dog has just had a hair cut and looks so funny though. I'll take some pictures. :)

I dunno, I just thought it'd look a bit odd? Plus I have far too many bikinis anyway!
Primark have some really nice floral sunglasses in too, I seem to be buying so much from there atm!

My flapper dress still hasn't come from ebay. I really want it and hope nothing has gone wrong, they haven't replied to my questions. :(

I've popped a letter in the post to Daisy today. I wish I was better practised in the art of letter writing though as I felt like I was writing a load of old tosh! At least it's on some beautiful Florentine paper.
  • Hi all.

Goan your outfit for tomorrow looks lovely on your blog. I'm sure your mum would love it too. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow.

I'm glad Daisy's doing OK. It seems really quiet on here without her.

I've been busy trying to discourage some swallows making a nest over my front door. It looks like I'm having a party because I've all sorts of things hung from the porch including brightly coloured strips of carrier bags, cds and balloons :rotfl:

Wow, what a lovely sunny day!
I'm wearing my floral primark strapless dress with an orange cardi and the black glads from Peacocks that I went back for today. I just finished writing to DB. It was a toughy though as I doubt she'll be able to reply as I hope and expect that she is bombarded with post! So it felt really odd just writing about me and not asking questions.

Goan, I hope it all goes well tomorrow , I'll be thinking of you hun. I know you will look suitably glam and do your Mum proud.
PF - I love that dress, I can imagine it looks great on your figure. Alex will have to come shopping with me next!

But I think my sis has just arrived, so o doubt I'll do any of it!
