Hmmm, why do shops ruin a potentially lovely pair of shoes with a hulking great zip? I'd buy these otherwise, I really would.
Still pondering these for a wedding later in the summer (tried them on yesterday), but unsure whether it's a bit frivolous to buy shoes first and then look for a dress rather than doing it the other way round.0 -
Alex - those shoes with the zip are lovely - I dont think the zip spoils it, but I wonder if they may be uncomfortable because if it?
I would get the blue shoes (which are cute), you have to start somewhere with a special outfit, at least you will have a colour/style to work with rather than starting from scratch. You can stand there and agonize........

alex, you know my thoughts on the blue shoes lol..
and whilst they are otherwise cute, the zips at the back of the floral ones would scare me :S0 -
Hi!
Back from hols and having worked my way through a massive pile of washing and drying (more DD's than mine), was going to tag on a post yesterday til I started to read back and realised there have been some monumental events in people's lives this last week or two. Think I'm up to date now, won't respond individually, just to say my thoughts and kindest wishes are with all our regular girlies.
Did I miss the chance of a cuppa and a natter in Chester? Grr! Sounded like a productive day anyway!
Weather was gorgeous when we were away, had a lovely relaxing time. Back to the real world with a vengence now though!
My Oasis wedges have a zip at the back, not very chunky though. It makes them a neat secure fit and a bit different to previous year's styles, I like them!0 -
I have atleast one pair of zippbck shoes(black evening shoes,I wore them in paris) nd find them fine. I don't think they look bad on that shoe at all alex. I'dtry them on and see wht they look like ON your feet.
Like the blue shoes, they are very adaptable sort of shoes.
Glas you're back Bronnie.0 -

glad to hear you had a lovely holiday though!
i dont' think i have any zip back shoes, i have a weird fear of zips at the backs of shoes lol0 -

Bronnie, I'm definitely up for another NW-ish mini meet up if anyone else fancies it
We should sort out something central-ish though over the summer though - I'd love to meet everyone in real life.
I shall trot off to Miss Selfridge when I go back to town then and see what they're like in real life0 -

I think I prefer the print on the first of the dresses. Not sure about the neckline though.0 -
