London diva train station and bus station are fairly close to each other in both Guildford and Woking so it will be cost and or time that will decide your route I guess!

It might be worth checking that Wisley is open for non members on Sundays it used to be members only day then but I have only been twice and it was week days both times(I am not a member!).

Where did you decide to stay in Guildford in the end?? Let us know if you would recommend it!
  • My friend is a member, so we can get in to Wisley free.

I love it in the summer & when I was at Uni, would often go there to revise for exams by the apples. Although the roses were a bit of a distraction:)

Will be staying at the Travelodge, which is suppossed to be massive - more on it when we get back. Will be travelling with electirc kettle, beer fridge and own herbal tea bags!

I think from a squizz of the map that the train station's a 15ish min walk from the hotel - driving into Woking's probably going to be a nono on match day and definately a nono if dinner's going to include a drink.

:j:j:j:j:j A big yeah!!! if it is. My friend is a F1 freak & this will make the day - question is, can I get there by pulic transport:think:

Had a look on their website, but it's one of those all pretty but no real info jobs. Will ring them or the Woking tourist board in the morning to find out if it's open to visitors.
