Rather useless this month - £381 - overshot by £50. I console myself that if I wasn't doing this challenge I would have spent a great deal more.

Waaaay over my March budget...... Reduced my budget to £106 when DS1 made it clear he wasn't staying here while home on leave, but even with the few days 'allowance' I'd had for him I'm still way over
Final figures for the month show as
Mar : budget £106 / spend £167.97 / whoopsie spend £122.42 / whoopsie value £487.66
But my figures to the end of March show as
budget £320 / spend £299.04 / whoopsie spend £170.98 / whoopsie value £724.83
So technically I'm still within my annual budget.... it's just that since 1st Jan I've used £63 of groceries I already had in stock, and was hoping to have all that money tucked away to stockpile towards year end. I only have £20.96 of that left, but a lot of what I've bought this month is stockpiled for the next few months - so in theory I should be able to claw back to a 'status quo' by then end of the Summer !?!?!?!?Cheryl0 -
Well it's the evening of the 31st so I'm declaring....
£268.55 spent
£1.45 under budget
Not too bad! Tomorrow I shall go to the dreaded Mr T (with a list!) for my first April shop. Let's hope I behave........0 -
I'd like to declare £138.60 for March please - well under my budget woohoo!! The cupboards are looking very bare though, need a big shop when my wages clear.
Heading over to April now, see you all there! xxTrying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon .... :cool:0 -
Managed to keep under budget spent £158.47:T, failed miserably in February though.0
