Rather useless this month - £381 - overshot by £50. I console myself that if I wasn't doing this challenge I would have spent a great deal more.

Well done to those who stuck to their plans.

Hi - declaring for March, £149.27 which is £10.73 under for this month. :j However will go back up to £175 for April as have more costs in that month.

Congrats to everyone for another month and all the best for April.

Many thanks for the recipe Moniker.

Going over to the new thread now.

Waaaay over my March budget...... Reduced my budget to £106 when DS1 made it clear he wasn't staying here while home on leave, but even with the few days 'allowance' I'd had for him I'm still way over :o

Final figures for the month show as
    Mar : budget £106 / spend £167.97 / whoopsie spend £122.42 / whoopsie value £487.66

But my figures to the end of March show as
    budget £320 / spend £299.04 / whoopsie spend £170.98 / whoopsie value £724.83

So technically I'm still within my annual budget.... it's just that since 1st Jan I've used £63 of groceries I already had in stock, and was hoping to have all that money tucked away to stockpile towards year end. I only have £20.96 of that left, but a lot of what I've bought this month is stockpiled for the next few months - so in theory I should be able to claw back to a 'status quo' by then end of the Summer !?!?!?!?
