hi all, just popped in to update signature and for once I don't think I am doing too bad !

Spent £17.68 in Mr T's on Saturday as I had my mum and dad over for a Mother's Day tea and I needed to get a chicken and some other bits and pieces. I also got some of the muller yoghurts 5 for a pound whilst I was there too. :D

    Take care everyone :)

£1 on baking potatoes today from the Co-op. 10 in total inside so not a bad deal I thought! Oooh, I almost forgot, I also picked up some Cadbury's cranberry & orange brunch bars in B&M for £1.15 - I haven't been able to find them for months so cannot wait to devour them!

Just poped in to update sig.

Have been to Ald* today and the super six is really good. 59p so got 2 x grapes, 2 x apples, oranges, red plums, yellow plums and lemons. They have pineapples as well but I didn't think we would get round to eating one and I don't want to waste any.

So lots of healthy pack up goodies for the week ahead.

£2.47 spent in Aldi today - got a pineapple, a bag of clementines and some humbugs for work. I think i'm going through a fruit phase at the moment as have loads of it!

Getting a bit close to my total, but only seem to be buying milk and fruit during the week as have everything for main meals and when I do take lunch, I create something out of what I have, so I should be ok! We'll see...

    Evening everyone :)

Hope everyone has enjoyed the fine weather, cold but good drying weather (good for the OS clothes drying) Just added receipts up and shopping comes to £25.33 :jwhich was spent in MrT, MRM and LIDL that includes mothers days present for My M DHM DD AND DSP. Had everyone around yesterday and a looked after DGD on Saturday night so really tired today at work. Next year I think I am going to be invited out (so DH said) as he ended doing all the clearing up and washing up! bless, Never mind had a lovely day it was nice to see them.
Made lots of cakes and cooked quite a few meals for this week on Saturday. so should not need to buy any more food till weekend and that should only be fruit, veg and cheese.Famous last words.:rotfl:.....so my grand total to date Is £133.83 that means I could come in under budget this month !!!! :DGC/ £160 I think I Still might last to the 28th, (a week over) as there is lots in freezers.
Really looking forward to my holls on the 28th really ready for a rest. Going to have a nice bath now and read (if I can keep my eyes open long enough) so goodnight everyone and keep saving. xx Savvyshe:)

Morning everyone - what a beautiful morning!! Small but very satisfying spend in Co-op yesterday - a half price chicken, 60p utterly butterly, 2 whoopsied loaves of bread, milk and some bananas for £5.84 :)
Going to really have to start meal planning for the rest of the month though - got £54.13 to last me the rest of the month but the cupboards and freezer are full of forgotten delights!
Have a good day everyone :) xx

I've lost track of what I've spent. My guinea pig is seriously ill so we've been trying to encourage her to eat by buying all her favorite fruit and veg so I've just not kept a tab on what I've spent. Got to take her back to the vets tonight as she's not improved, poor little thing, isn't looking good.

On another note worked out what was spent on groceries out of that huge spend and it was £76.40 so I'm just classing my new total at £176.43. I know it'll be slightly more that this due to the extra bits and pieces I've been buying for my piggie but as I said I haven't really kept a check on that.

My shelter cake time event was a huge success at work, managed to raise £65 which the company will double :j everyone raved about the millies cookies, millionaire shortbread and coconut cake so thanks for those who supplied those recipes, loads of people have asked for the recipes!

Well done on the fundraising - that was great!
Hope all goes ok w/ piggy, its rotten when the pets are sick.

you will always be rich enough to be generous.
  • Well I am getting dangerously close to my low budget (the one to try & balance out the last 2 months over spends) and will be surprised to be honest if I make it. Spent about £40 in Mr T's today & also forgot to get one thing I need for dinner tonight so another trip to the Co Op in a bit

Oh well, I shall just have to try & take it very easy from now till the end of the month but for me I am only half way through the month. Gosh it already feels like a long one!
