I would, but MrP keeps hiding them

We only disagree about the temp at night. I would prefer it to be lower as I get really hot, but OH gets really cold so we meet somewhere in the middle.
The gas and elec are included in our rent though, and we've not managed to exceed our quota in the last year or so.
Definitely not something we would argue about.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
We have the heating on for 2 hours in morn 6.30 - 8.30 and 5 hrs in the eve 3 - 8 although if really cold i will put it on for an hour inbetween.
I grew up in a frezing house and it really doesn't bother me being a bit chilly i just put another layer on.
Itr really bugs me when DH complains of being cold when he's wearing a t-shirt!!!!!I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -
My OH has lizard blood, and she rules the house thermostat which is set at 24. More than my life is worth to twiddle with the thermostat.
Luckily the car has dual zone climate control, mine set to 19 degrees hers is at 24 with the heated seat on permanently.0 -
We agree, we dont have a temp gauge but we have a baby thermometer lol and the house with the heating on is 18
BUT I like a cold bedroom so an hour before bed I open the windows and he then shuts them when we go to bed lolDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

I keep it simple I live on my own ;p
If I am at the GF's then I don't complain I just put a pair of shorts on and a tee shirt if the GF stays at mine, well I just give in a bit but I do like waking up to a cold room ;p0 -
My Oh loved our old house we used to have an aga than ran the central heating system, even on the coldest days you could have all the doors and windows open, and she would feel the temp was just right while I was considering lining the house with pine and putting in a few benchs for a massive sauna.0

We generally agree on 18C in the evening until 10.30pm, then off at night, and on at 18C for an hour in the morning.
The only time we disagreed was when I caught him putting the heating on one Saturday as we were on our way out, as he didn't want the dog to get cold!!! I pointed out the dog has his own central heating called fur, so heating went off!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
I live alone but when I lived with ex we did used to row about it – I was always brought up that if you are cold put a jumper/cardi on and if after half an hour you are still cold then you turn up the heating.
However ex used to have the heating on full pelt and walk about in thin t-shirt!!!0 -
I would have it on max 27/7, DH & DD keep turning it down.0
