I just wanted to order ONE, for ME, to use personally
    not to sell on
    not to cash in
    not to recycle
    not to milk the system

but it has refused the order as they are OUT OF STOCK

thank you all (the greedy multi-grabbers) for that

(this is my first ever quote so I hope it works)

Well I will sell you one if you like.......I bought one for my son, but he thinks its girlie, as his Mum has a slide phone too.

I expect you'll see some on ebay already.

I can't get my one to accept it's sim card. Which looks a bit rusty. Is this normal? The phone seems fine. Not being a phone expert I have emailed orange but they have a 24 hr delay in answering emails...

My sim card also looks rusty but it is the same as my friends so I don't think they are.

Are you putting in the sim card correctly? You have to push down a bit to get it under the metal clip.

Anyone else registered the sim to get the free £10 top up?

The website wants contact name and address details which I would prefer not to provide if there is a way to opt out.

oh thanks so much, I didn't realise that was a clip, thought it was part of the circuit board or something... about to try again...

well progress! I just got 2 texts from orange telling me my phone number & code. Back to reading the instructions now, guess I have to register the phone?

progress edit All working lovely now, I phoned up & they put the £10 on. It's a dear little phone and best of all it's the first time I've had a mobile at home because we're in a valley and O2, Virgin etc don't reach here.
    Thanks again JAG

I must be one of the lucky ones - ordered 2 for DD's and received them both today. I am delighted and so will my girls be. Thank you so much to OP - brilliant.

I tried to register the sim online and it told me to ring. I tried to call and it told me there was no money on the phone. How do I get the £10.00 top up. Nice little phone btw

I was hours getting it together but it's worth it. I rang 0800 0790006 from a landline and they put the credit on for me & registered the phone to my address.0800 0790006

How can the phone be unopened if you opened the box?

I have bought phones previously where the sim comes separately from the phone, I thought this may have been similar.
