My 3rd NSD today. Took DH's car to college, so didn't get petrol today, but will definitely have to get some tomorow!

Sorry BigMumma for claiming an NSD when it wasn't really an NSD :(. I've let you down, i've let Team NSD down and i've let myself down. But hey, i made up for that my having a genuine NSD today :T. Can you ever forgive me? :A :D.
I think we can let you off, coffee-break, as you've made up for it by having a genuine NSD:)
Who needs Katherine Bigelow when we have BigMumma directing us and leading the way :p:D.
Too true - yay for BigMumma and her NSD oscar:T

Have a dilemma - I want today to be a NSD, but have just come into work to be told we are all going for out lunch. I didnt know anything about it and Ive got my packed lunch with me. I dont really want to go but dont want to be a party pooper either. I only work 2 days a wk so I dont really want to spend @ £15 on a lunch. What do you think I should do?
Oh dear, jintyb, what a dilemma. Not sure what I would have done under the circumstances - hope you managed to find a solution x
Another one for me to-day, aliens now on overtime!!!
Well done pure dead dopey - those aliens of yours are definitely coming in handy:D
    Hi everyone

Well done to everyone for NSDs today. Well done to BigMumma on the new coat - hope you're pleased with it. Welcome to NewlyFrugalMumof3, good to have you on board the NSD train:D
Good luck to everyone for tomorrow

Sorry, but I've been out all day & on the phone all evening..how did you get on? My first reaction was to say you had a dental appt or made prior arrangements, but I agree it's a difficult one :o

Hi there, thanks for your replies - well I stuck to my guns and didnt go! I dont mind if its for someones birthday/leaving do , but this was just an ad hoc "we're all going for lunch" thing. Anyway, they were going to Wa**aburger, which I love but isnt v good for my tum (I have Crohns disease) so that was my excuse.
So it was a hard fought but successful NSD for me - phew!:j On the plus side - I found €20 note stuck in a little pocket in my purse, from about 4 yrs ago - that was the last time I was in euroland, so I promptly took it into the Post Office on the way home and got £16 for it - yay! Result eh!:rotfl:

you will always be rich enough to be generous.

Well done for sticking to your guns jintyb - it can't have been easy, another NSD notch for your belt though:). And the £16 bonus is great, so you came out on top yesterday:j:j.
Have a good day today x
