  • 1 more NSD under my belt...

Just peeked in fridge and the milk and bread situation is desperate so I'm thinking tomorrow will be SD, need to buy cleaning stuff anyway so may as well get it all in 1 go! :D
All the coffee in Columbia won't make me a morning person... :D:p

    That reminds me
coffeeholic...need to take some milk out of the freezer as it takes AGES to defrost!

DH had to get lucozade today, so a small SD.
Tomorrow is a bigger SD for both me and DH. DH is going to hunt for trousers for DS2 (the ones I got from Mr T..."uncomfortable"!). It's his big rugby-prop thighs that make getting smart trousers a bit of a trial. ;)
Off to fill in application forms for all of us to enrol with an NHS dentist :j. Then we can cancel our Denplan payements (over £50 a month )...more money saved!

Probably won't be popping in tomorrow, as have physio in the morning and staff training in the afternoon, so a busy day for me out and about (for a change!).

    Hi all
hope you are all doing well with your challenges.

I can add 3 more NSD's to my list for sunday monday and today - I was out for tea today but my DB paid!! now my total is 6/21
    Peace will be mine

  • I managed NSD number 3 yesterday and NSD number 4 today. Tomorrow, however, will be a spend day! :( Most annoying, but inevitable I'm afraid; out of some basics.

    Best wishes, all! :)

Have a dilemma - I want today to be a NSD, but have just come into work to be told we are all going for out lunch. I didnt know anything about it and Ive got my packed lunch with me. I dont really want to go but dont want to be a party pooper either. I only work 2 days a wk so I dont really want to spend @ £15 on a lunch. What do you think I should do?

oh jintyb that was a tragedy waiting to happen!!! What did you do?? I'm meant to be going out next week but am already feeling a bit wriggly about it. Bluddy social engagements.......

Sorry, but I've been out all day & on the phone all evening..how did you get on? My first reaction was to say you had a dental appt or made prior arrangements, but I agree it's a difficult one :o

I've had a spend today--isn't it typical tho, you go to a larger town looking for something--in this case a decent, almost-waterproof coat--only to come back to your local little shops & get it there :doh:Thing is, it's not there when you start to look for said item...
