  • I'm off the NSD mark, thankfully, with the first NSD of the month! :j Two of my work mates asked me to go for coffee during the course of the day, but thankfully they both offered to pay on each occasion! :D Naturally, I felt it rude not to let them. :D

Not sure I'll get another before later in the week, but glad to be on the way.

Best wishes, all, and good luck!
  • NSD number 1 for me today :D

A NSD for me too which am happy about although it is down to the fact that it's been all work and no play today. I nearly did err tonight when I was driving home late and for about 10 seconds I considered getting a takeaway. Would have been pure comfort food as feeling a little hard done to (but for no good reason). Instead I went home to 'freezer surprise' which turned out to be the last portion of a curry I made in new year with leftover veg. Mmmmmmmm curried parsnips.....just what I flipping needed tonight!

Think I'm going out with a pal tomorrow night and if I do then it is my turn to pay. :(

Thanks Solvent, another NSD, had some healthy grapes instead of some of that gorgeous, luscious, creamy, delectable chocolate  :D. I feel better for it too :D.
Well done coffee-break, grapes are much better for you than nasty, sweet, addictive chocolate:rotfl:

Thanks coffee-break for your kind wishes...it has been hard being on the other side of the world (he and sis-in-law lived on an island in Vancouver Bay). She is coming over in May I think to have a memorial for him with the family on this side of the pond (I think she might be bringing some of his ashes to scatter, not sure though).

As to the knitting, the gloves don't have fingers...and I got the patern link from this knitting thread. I know it is a huge thread, but the folk are wonderful and you get lots of lovely patterns (or links to them!).

...will go and hunt for the link...here it is! A simple pattern, but quite effective...I have done two pairs so far and plan on making lots more...I wear the first pair I made every day, what with the cold weather we've had this winter!

Not sure if I will get much knitting done this evening after all, as I have spent too long on here...oh well, I will get the casting on done as well as a few rows done before bed.

Night night everyone...have a good week!

Keiss, I'm really sorry to hear about your loss as well, it must be really hard being so far away.
Hope your niece likes her birthday pressie - sounds great to me
Thanks for the knitting links, will have a look. I love knitting but haven't done any for a while, might get some ideas on there.

    Hi to everyone else
Well done for lots of NSDs today. I got my second today, did some tidying up in the garden as the weather was so lovely and worked the rest of the day so no chance to spend :j

Good luck to everyone for tomorrow.

PS: curlygirl, curried parsnips, yum....:( Well done for resisting the takeaway:)

I am declaring today my first NSD of March. Got dinner ingredients for tonight yesterday, had a latte and a breakfast roll bought for me this morning, have lunch in and going straight home after work! All looking good for tomorrow too!
