    Hello everyone,
Oh I'm so sorry - I have been completely useless this week, I haven't even been on here!
I have got zilch done except for usual dishes, washing, etc :(
However I went back to work after half term this week AND I have been making home cooked meals from scratch which has taken up the most part of my evenings in all fairness :) There have been clean plates all round except for one which my kids didn't like but apart from that it has been a big success :D

So here is my own list for today and I will join in next week and try to do better :)

    Level 1
    Dishes
    De-clutter living-room
    Hoover
    Polish

    Level 2
    Wash uniform
    De-clutter fridge
    De-clutter pantry
    Food shop online

    Level 3
    De-clutter cloakroom

    Extras
    Clean bathroom
    De-clutter back room

    Okee doke - let's see how I do :)
    Jen xx
Everything happens for a reason :)

    Afternoon

Pruned one bed of roses, between the showers, one bed left to do. Decided whilst out there to drastically prune the climber which is all above the front door. DH and I have redued it to about 3ft either side. It grows a good foot a month so will soon be higher and it was such a tangled mess there was no other way to do it.

MOAM great news on the school place

Builder has been in this morning and done the first part of the tanking in the shower.

    Woody has:
Had a set to with the cat opposite
    Caught a bird
Broken the cat flap (by coming through it like a bat out of h£ll just because it started to rain)

Time for a cuppa and then finish tidying the side shed which I was doing during the last shower.

Need to fit in a trip to Mr M to get a few bits and some petrol.

They remind me of toddlers and playgroups.

  • Dusty, while you're on, you have the go-ahead for a fresh thread for The Anniversary Challenge :T

Please be aware, everyone, that as there is already a Declutter and the Flylady weekly, the BG's would expect this to be a very occasional thing (no new challenges every week :naughty: ).

Can't wait  I'll be starting on my photos tomorrow (as I'm at work on Monday :( ).

    Afternoon all!

Didn't have a very good week back at work - nasty head was nasty to us (mainly to my year colleague) twice this week, and colleague was in tears. She speaks to us like we are children and tries to make out that we are incompetant because we haven't got the psychic ability to guess when she is going to change times and dates for things, so that when we plan things around the original time and she changes it, it messes up our plans, and of course it's all our fault for arranging things on the same day!!! Colleague and I sat there after school after Thursday's incident, and logged it all. I was so angry with the head that I stood up to her, and made sure that when she was walking away, that I spoke loudly enough for her to hear me, when I said "it's not our fault - it's her bad management not ours - we can't be expected to guess when she is going to change times for things!" I was so angry I wanted to go and shout at her and tell her that I wasn't prepared to be spoken to like that, but luckily some of my other colleagues held me back, as they said that is the reaction she is looking for! TBH I really don't care if I get a crap reference from her when I leave - think she's going to end up with a mass walk out soon if she's not careful! I'm def going at the end of this term, 4 teachers are def going at the end of the summer term, at least 2 others are thinking about going, and there are only 14 teachers in our school. The caretaker and one of the office staff are thinking of going too. Thank goodness there are only hopefully 5 weeks until I'm off. *Rant over.*

Positives then - Happy birthday for all who I've missed this week - there have been a few.
Glad your Mum is home Jo - bet you can't wait to see her! And of course it'll be an added bonus if you get to see the lovely tootles too. OH put the bed together in the spare room yesterday, so things are on their way to creating a spare room for you and Sebastian to stay in at Easter. :)

Had a lovely facial this morning (voucher given to me at Christmas by my sister) after doing the walk-through with colleague for our trip on Tuesday. We've changed the route a bit, and we're both happier that we can manage it now - this will be the first trip that we've done without anyone helping us, so we're both a bit nervous about it.

Oh, and I did my first whole school assembly on Friday and survived! I had to do the merit assembly in front of about 420 children and about 7 staff too! I was really nervous, but everyone said I did really well and appeared to be very confident. One of the supply teachers said she would have been terrified and said I'd been very brave! :)

Also got my letter through from the LEA to congratulate me on passing my NQT year, and the certificate from the GTC will follow, so I have proof now that I'm a qualified teacher.

Since I've been home, I've done lots of flying!

I've cleaned all of the mildew off the metal window frames in the study and in the bathroom, cleaned the keyboard, computer and phone down with antibacterial wipes, dusted and hoovered the study and bedroom, and cleaned the computer screen with screen fluid.

I'm off to find some lunch now, and then I'm going to put the washing away that OH did yesterday, before putting some more on, and then I'm going to start on hoovering and dusting downstairs - there is still an awful lot of black dust around from where they put the woodburner in - it seems to have got everywhere (even in the kitchen, which is nowhere near the living room)!

Hugs to all who need or want them.

I might be starting a HHC later, so look out for it if you're about.

    Love to all,

    sexymouse xx

Thanks Pen x - this is a one off!

Anyone is welcome but the aim is motivation, motivation, motivation. I will be aiming at doing all those bits I never get around to declutter. After enjoying time in the garden today I want my flying to take as little time as possible and that means everything having a home!

I'll post the thread tomorrow late afternoon so anybody who has any more great ideas as to what they would like to see on it let me know.

That was a very productive hour. Ds2 helped by dusting and he helped me tidy his room, he loves cleaning. me too!

Enjoyed lunch out, such a bargain again! And then wandered up the high st as I needed a couple of bits...popped into beauticians to ask if they could fit me in for eyebrow shape - handily they could, it was a new place as when I went on Tues to the usual place for my appointment they said the girl had left! New place was actually better and can pay by card which is much easier. Picked up some plant food and then bumped into a friend in M&S who chatted for ages....

DH has done the lounge to a super thorough standard today, every inch of it. I've done the bathroom and some of the kitchen. Time to relax for a bit now. We are going out to a meal at IL's church this eve so I need to shower and wash my hair before then.

As we've done so well today with the flying I may as well claim some stars...
