    hi all

I've done a few bits off my list, had a lovely lunch and natter with my friend and bought a new laundry bin for £2 and some fruit from the market. Since getting home I've been counting up my copper and 5p stash - £6 so far and a bit to go. every little helps!

DH is on his way home so I want to tidy round and get the wm on before he gets here.

Hugs and relevant vibes for all xx

DD is upstairs tidying her DVD's into their cases and putting them away.......then a friend calls for her it's 5 o'clock!!!!! I told her that she was not going out as she had her job to do..(I have bought her a magazine that she can have when it's all done( she tidied and hoovered the other day)) But she asked the friend in anyway, so I said she would be grounded for a week as she was not listening and the room wouldn't get finished if friend was here.....friend went home....grumpy DD!!!!!! Have given her 15 mins to sort it out........
I want her in bed by 7:30.....preferably happy....we shall see.......

    Sorry for the rant xx

Lasagne made, potatoes peeled. Another load on the line and 2 hand wash items that have been in the laundry bin since I don't know when have been washed and are now blowing in the breeze (gale, hope the pegs hold.)
I have cleared all the mountain off the ironing board and put it into piles, very little to actually be ironed so I will do that next. Some summer stuff to put away, Aus feels such a long time ago now. Need to run the hoover round before OH and DD return from their travels. Off now to put diner on. I feel strangely pleased. I take my hat off to all you ladies who regularly finish the lists and keep on top of it all.

It's my nephew's baptism on Sunday and we have 16 here for lunch before the service and i'm going a buffet for 80 for afterwards so it's a bit manic here atm and it seems my stomach is not playing ball! 2nd day off of work as i'm in ridiculous pain - sitting/lying down aggrevates it more so have been pottering all day and feel shattered! Have an appointment at the doctors on Thursday as after talking to the lovely new doctor yesterday she isn't convinced ibs was the correct diagnosis 4 years ago due to the problems i still have - hummpppppppphhhhhh, another round of blood tests and scans but hopefully it'll all be resolved and i'll have a definate diagnosis! :(

Can I ask what the symptoms are? (you can PM me if you prefer). Only I have a diagnosis of something that manifested as IBS and so does my son, that turned out to be something else and is pretty hard to detect. Just wondered if it is something you might be able to present to your doctor as something to investigate?

I'm so glad it's the weekend - even though it's been raining almost all day (and last night), and the weather forecast is no better. Never mind, I've decluttered some scrambled eggs on toast, followed by a nice yogurt and several cuppas. DS2 is about to go in the bath and I'm doing tea for DH/making a start on the lists. Never thought I'd look forward to housework. :rotfl:
I didn't feel like doing anything after the parents' evening last night (home just after 8pm), so I was up at 5.45 this morning, washed my hair and sat down at the laptop at 6.10. The report I had to do was in on time and well received. :T Got lots to do this weekend, though (what's new), so I'll get the shopping out of the way tonight. DH is coming with me, which is a first! I think he's short of spending money, as business is really slow at the moment. He's even said he will stay in Wed - Fri next week, because he has the day off on Saturday and wants to save his money for then. God knows what I'll do with him under my feet for 3 nights in a row. Might have to get the lists printed off... ;)
Okay, will make a move now! See you all later. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Not bad - not perfect but more done than I thought, and I should get a little more done over the weekend. I spent quite a long time cleaning the oven out, didnt do it last week and managed to get some of it quite clean. May need to have a go more regularly though.

Front room is all clean and sparkly again which is where I spent most of my time. A load of stuff had to go upstairs to littleys room which I took up, and had a good sort and hoover round. Am quietly pleased with it!

Hope everyone has a good weekend. Lilo
