My god dusty i can't get that done in a week , think i might just have to leave it and do what i'm doing now, ignoring it.:o
You can join in too! We are not doing all the things on that list it is just to focus so on day 1 paper you choose what paper you are doing - not the whole lot that needs doing - I'm doing the 3 boxes of kids pictures/school work which are on the family room floor and have been waiting to be sorted for about 4 years!
Decluttering - starting is often the hardest part - we are making a start:T
DS2 and DS3 rooms finished. I'll hoover DS1's room in a minute but he needs to tidy up before I can dust/wet wipe in there.
Think I'll get some eggs and butter out and make a cake once I've done the school run.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Good luck wishes for Diva.
Washing all dry and put away. Dried outside! It's blowing a gale mind.
Wish I'd had the sense to put mine outside - bit late in the day now. I'm sick of the maidens being up in the kitchen 24/7The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

I thought we could work along the lines of wedding anniversaries for no real reason but to make it more focused so:
1st Paper
Monday anything to do with paperwork/photos/boxes of cards/kids pictures/books etc
2nd Cotton
Tuesday Clothes - anybodies for charity or ebays but not creating piles!
3rd Leather
Wednesday Handbag sorting/putting away/getting rid of or sorting bags of clothes stuffed under your bed/including camping stuff/sleeping bags/sporting equipment/shoes/boots
4th Linen
Thursday Linen cupboards/towels give them a good sort. Do not keep stuff just in case. Vets often want old towels
5th Wood
Friday - can include toys/sorting sheds/tidying your woodstore (greenbee)/DIY jobs
6th Iron
Saturday - cleaning out the car/refilling washer bottles/sorting our your heavy metal records/sorting our your baking tins/cast iron pans
7th Day of rest! Almost lets pamper
Sunday - sort out your toiletries and enjoy a bath decluttering all those bath bombs/face packs/trail samples/candle lit of course
Anyone fancy joining and shall we have a separate one off thread?
Dusty count me in, house is a shambles so need to start somewhere even flying not working for me at the mo,although have had a successful clear out on ebay this week, so will add some more there for next week.0 -

I like this idea but like lots of other comments can't face doing it in a week, I am away next week for a start. Think I will do it over 7 weeks then I can concentrate on getting each bit well and truly done!

Hope all went well Diva.
Was going to finish the kitchen today, but our Tesco has been re-built and changed to a huge extra store which opened yesterday. Went there this morning and lost 3 hours!!!
Ahh well, have at least managed to clean the rabbit & guinea pig out, so they're happy. Off to do school run. Kitchen will have to be done tonight.0 -
Have managed to bea good little flylady today and can claim stars for LR, Kitchen & Bathroom - Bedrooms are work in progress but hope to have them finished before Sunday, I have a spare room that i am ignoring as all the clutter from other areas has been finding its way in (next week will help to sort it out so will leave it until then.
School run time will make the beds when i get back.0 -
Right Dusty you've convinced me :T
On Monday i will sort through the childrens artwork/stuff and various other paperwork. Will buy some files for the cabinet at the weekend so i can have a go at it.
