Afternoon all
Dusty - what a brilliant idea on the anniversary declutter - well done you! :T
Well, the office has found me something to do for another three months on the same part time basis so that's good (I suppose!).
We've had sunshine and strong winds today so as soon as I got home (left at 1pm), I didn't even take my coat off, I put the washing in the machine on the line to dry and then BB and I went for a v. long walk to soak up the sunshine. I also took the last few photos for my talk to the not-so-young wives.
We are both now pooped. We tramped for quite a way and then caught the bus back. BB does like the bus - everyone makes such a fuss of her. Even had an old tramp stop and give her a cuddle at the busstop and not a tap for money.
But, I'd better finish up this cup of tea and do some flying....I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Just had a quick whizz through the thread - ((hugs)) to all who need them.
Decluttering - weeks for me too please - so Pigpen & AJMoney - shall we have our own minichallenge then? It'll take us through-ish to spring half term, when I'll be gardening, Pigpen will be decorating...
Anyways best go put the shopping away, and some washing onto the line,
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0 -

I thought we could work along the lines of wedding anniversaries for no real reason but to make it more focused so:
1st Paper
Monday anything to do with paperwork/photos/boxes of cards/kids pictures/books etc
2nd Cotton
Tuesday Clothes - anybodies for charity or ebays but not creating piles!
3rd Leather
Wednesday Handbag sorting/putting away/getting rid of or sorting bags of clothes stuffed under your bed/including camping stuff/sleeping bags/sporting equipment/shoes/boots
4th Linen
Thursday Linen cupboards/towels give them a good sort. Do not keep stuff just in case. Vets often want old towels
5th Wood
Friday - can include toys/sorting sheds/tidying your woodstore (greenbee)/DIY jobs
6th Iron
Saturday - cleaning out the car/refilling washer bottles/sorting our your heavy metal records/sorting our your baking tins/cast iron pans
7th Day of rest! Almost lets pamper
Sunday - sort out your toiletries and enjoy a bath decluttering all those bath bombs/face packs/trail samples/candle lit of course
AB
Anyone fancy joining and shall we have a separate one off thread?
Please may I join in :j I'm not sure about a separate thread. Please can you leave it with me, and I'll consult with the other BGs tomorrow, once DH has gone off on his business trip

Happy birthday, congratulations, commiserations a *hugs* as and where needed
It'd my nephews baptism on Sunday and we have 16 here for lunch before the service and i'm going a buffet for 80 for afterwards so it's a bit manic here atm and it seems my stomach is not playing ball! 2nd day off of work as i'm in ridiculous pain - sitting/lying down aggrevates it more so have been pottering all day and feel shattered! Have an appointment at the doctors on Thursday as after talking to the lovely new doctor yesterday she isn't convinced ibs was the correct diagnosis 4 years ago due to the problems i still have - hummpppppppphhhhhh, another round of blood tests and scans but hopefully it'll all be resolved and i'll have a definate diagnosis!
Anyways - off to stick in the 2nd round of cakes for Sunday - have so far made 2 banana cakes, and 24 fairy cakes - only 72 to go and then i'll start decorating them :eek:0 -
Glad you've got 3 months more work Soappie! And I was we had even daylight here, it's been dark raining/sleeting ALL day. I'm solar powered like you so in a real CBA moodTo love and be loved is the greatest happiness of existance - Sydney Smith0
