HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Ashia :bdaycake:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Junior_j.:bdaycake:
CONGRATULATIONS Dreamywings, well done.:T
Got a bit overwhelmed earlier at the enormity of clearing up the bedroom, its truly awful. Started off binning loads of stuff and then couldn't find the bin bags...argh...so had to stop.
I'm having a real think about what to do with stuff that hardly ever gets used but there's a lot of it, thinking space taken to time used ratio.
Things like;
camping gear including numerous tents, airbeds, sleeping bags
camping cooking gear, including numerous gas canisters (full), cooker, lights, plastic plates, saucepans.
Water carrier
Bedding cupboard with stuff that never gets used, needs to go this lot.
3 garages...2 of which are rented, full of motorbikes, engines and my trike, just left rotting...:o
The attic, full of boxes of rubbish and stuff that I don't even know what it is plus christmas decorations.
Millions of cards and photos, I'm going to have to be ruthless re the cards.
Albums, they take up an alcove but we never play them, loads of old punk, metal etc but they never get played.:(
Clothes, I'm sure they breed, this needs a major, ruthless going through....plus my wedding dress, its never going to be worn again, shame really, needs dry cleaning and sold.
Bookcases and cabinets full of books, piles of books in every room, these can be sold.
Toys, they don't get played with they are just cluttering up the youngests room and she has no space anyway.
Luckily I have a week off next week so I can get on to it all without distractions, half term wasn't good health wise or having head space wise so I didn't manage to get musch done, well nowhere near what I'd have liked.
Apologies for my musings but I'm starting to feel a bit more 'normal' and I need to formulate a plan to resume the grand declutter.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Am flying but just not able to do everything on the lists so I'll just do what I can whilst everything is so busy. My bathroom is gleaming so thanks for providing the motivation Pigpen! My whole house is slowly coming back together after the half term holiday when I didn't do anything. Just a quick tidy round and vacuum can make such a difference!
By the way, got another egg from Betsy Boo this morning; she's a real sweetheart. Think we're going to let them out into the garden tomorrow afternoon so should be fun !

It's official the boys rooms are done, windows clean the full monty. Made the boys give them a proper clean rather than throw them under the bed. Lets just say they didn't thank me for it. So i couldn't be bothered doing a big meal so had leftover HM pizza (from yesterday) and HM chips and beans all i could be bothered doing.
Found a gorgeous new drink, in Sainsburys they selling basics fairtrade cappuncino for £1.86 and its sooo lush, having my second now mmmmm. As prob only me drinking it it'll last last a fair while.
Right off to help OH in the kitchen.0 -
