Dinner cooking
Downstairs nice and straight just a 5 minute dust in the family room needed.
Dedicating all of tomorrow to the 4 bedrooms - beds already changed for the week.
Need to go and collect DS2 from school in a minute and then homework supervision for DS3 and bathtime for all 3 as the big ones can't have showers right now.
PenPen - we had a sheet go bare just before holiday. I got a lovey new high thread count kingsize one from TKMaxx for £9.99 which I was chuffed about, using the old one as a dust sheet. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
BenW - I did 28.5k steps yesterday -worthy of Greenbee!
:D:D
TD is on yet again, need to get the boys muddy stuff in the WM next, then work out just how to clean their shoes - possibly a wall paper scraper :rotfl:.
Dusty/PP - TK Max all the way for the sheets, ours is next door to Dunelm and they didnt come close on price or quality. I got stupidly high count (I blame Soappie!) ex Wallace Sacks for next to nothing and they are just lovely.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Hi all
Hope everyone is well? Sending some hugs for anyone who needs one...plus, happy birthday to anyone celebrating a birthday (and for yesterday...:o).
Haven't done any of the list today, but did manage to do a general tidy of the living room and hallway, and to keep the kitchen clean today.
Had visitors (mum), and the second plumber came to give us a quote. But, I think he'll be too expensive...just from the way he was talking - we (apparently) need a scaffolding tower so that they can safely access the roof to install a new flue....no-one else has mentioned it and the plumber who replaced next door's boiler 12 months ago used roof ladders.
Personally, I don't think he wanted the work - too much trouble. But, we'll see...have the third plumber coming next Tuesday....
I think I'm coming down with tonsillitis, not surprising, since DD is just getting over it, so I'm off to the sofa (or possibly to bed once DS has gone down for the night).
Take care
D

I know somebody with a costco card, wonder if they do them?
Dinner eaten, kids all seem quite tired.
DS2 has done brilliant in his maths challenge, 2nd in his year and getting a gold certificate, he now gets put through to another round.
Now do I tackle DS3 homework tonight or in the morning, let's try now.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I haven't really flied this evening, with regards to today's list couldn't face the bathroom (not that its that disgusting to face
) convinced myself I was to tired after work but once I got home and had a cuppa I decided to just do a bit
So I have finished my ironing :j there is no pile or any on the radiators, until tomorrow when I'll do another wash This is the first time this year there hasn't been any ironing waiting to be done, so a crease free week for me next week
Then finished off the landing by ripping up the gripper rods and all the staples, so tomorrow morning I shouldn't have to do the "walk of dare", I failed this morning and stood on a bit of gripper rod - definitely not the right way to wake up in the morning :eek:Mortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0
