Can't remember the last time I cleaned either! :o

What is the best thing to clean the oven with? I think I have some Mr Muscle somewhere but also have some bicarb if that's better.
Might do it tonight and leave it overnight.

School was ok - inset day, so deadly dull, and I've been coughing all day! Don't know what's got into Deputy Head, as when I did the form this morning and gave her the doctor's note, she was actually nice to me, and said I still didn't look great today. Bit fed up though as supply teacher hasn't marked the literacy work - what is the point of having a supply teacher in, if you then have to come back and mark all of the work?! When I was a supply teacher, we weren't allowed to leave until everything had been marked, and our timesheets weren't signed until then either!

You can always let the supply agency/head know that the supply hadn't done their job properly and then they won't get used again.

As far as I know, supply staff in secondary don't have to plan, mark or assess. Long term supply often do, but we can't insist on it as far as I know. One reason why I've occasionally tempted by it.

    .

If it hasn't been done for a while and is a bit gross, sod the OS stuff and buy Oven Pride. It's fantastic. You don't need to use the amount they say on the bottle. Just smear a bit on the bottom, leave for about 4 hours and scrub off.

If there's more residue left (like there was in mine when I first discovered this marvellous product!) rinse and repeat as it were a few days later, and then later etc. Before you know it, it's all brilliant. I think it took me three sessions of Oven Pride to get the 6 years :o of dirt off. But now it's off, it take no time at all to get back to newness and can be done using OS stuff xx
