  • Well done on your HHC jjeff and toochoosey. Unfortunately I didn't make it back after half an hour as DD2 wee'd on the floor, the kids tea was ready and the man arrived to collect the car. Anyway, here's what I did:
    Monday ~ Living/Family/Reception room
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Declutter and vacuum floor!
Wipe sticky grubby marks from sofas[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Wipe sticky grubby marks from walls and paintwork
Vacuum under furniture you can safely move..
Dust and deweb light fittings, picture rails and other fluffy places!![/STRIKE]
    Level Three
    [STRIKE]Clear and wipe and cupboards/sideboards in here[/STRIKE]
10 minute hotspot clearance...and don't just stuff it all in a drawer!
[STRIKE]Polish any glass.. screens, pictures, ornaments mirrors etc[/STRIKE]

    Extras
    1. Wipe and water any plants
    2. Vacuum sofas and wipe off sticky marks!
    3. Sort through a drawer or cupboard of 'stuff'
    4. [STRIKE]Binbag dance[/STRIKE]
Not bad going considering everything that was going on at the time.

Well the plan for tonight is.....do absolutely nothing! I'm still suffering with a cold and my wisdom teeth are playing up so I've got swollen glands and earache too. So coffee, piece of victoria sandwich left over from last night, telly then bed!

    Night night everyone!

right.. they are NOT really contagious!! That is a myth! It depends on how much contact there is.

Bedding.. wash it on a 60' wash.. and their towels.. and flannels/sponges etc

The first application of cream kills the living bugs.. you reuse the cream to kill the newly hatched bugs not make sure all bugs are dead. So tomorrow there will be no bugs to pass on..

You don't need to tell the school either really.. they are given messages saying which illnesses have been doing the rounds in their area but other than that it isn't up to you to tell them why they are off.

If you haven't any more cream then you can use head louse shampoo.. rub it on.. leave it half an hour and wash it off.. gone!

You are sooooo good! Any problem we have with our kids you ALWAYS know the answer. Sorry, just wanted to tell you how fab you are!!!!!!:A

    Evening all

    Welcome back Taffy and shell

loubout - well done on your job offer

Vanilla - hugs on the scabies thing

Am not as bleurgh as I was this morning but still have a tickly throat. I'm fine as long as I don't speak or take a sharp intake of breath.

But the not speaking has been difficult today as the phone has rung several times requiring me to speak rather a lot isntead of just a curt p*ss off to a cold calling salesman. The people I did training with last week phoned several times trying to organise something and they didn't do it very well. But I think it's sorted now. I can see I'm going to have to do some quiet management in that department on the side ;):D

Will go into work tomorrow if I'm the same as I am now but I'll be late as I have my tour of the masonic building tomorrow morning :D

~oops: note to self, make sure camera has space on the card and it is fully charged ~

Not much flying done but I did sort out some paperwork and have almost finished my talk for the old wives club which I'm due to give on March 11th so that's good. What's even better is that when DS came round for dinner last night, I was talking about needing a projector. He works at a school and sent a text this am saying he's spoken to his boss and I can borrow one of theirs.

But, I'd better forage for food (jacket potato and cold cuts I think), check the camera and then have an early night.
I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
