Oh dear AnW'sMum - what a lot you did.....
I only managed the curry and to wash up/clear up afterwards. Mind you, it was a proper currywith lots of grinding and making pastes and suchlike, but all the same....
Am back in front of the fire: it's s-o-o-o-o miserable out there that I just want to snuggle up!
Nope. It won't do. Pull yourself together, Higgerty! The sitting room is a tip after half-term, and it needs some attention urgently.
Besides, I saw (just) one of those dreadedlurking in the corner of the fireplace behind the logs... and we know where that can lead to, don't we....? Several thousand of the b*****s before you can blink....
Off again - will leave the loos and the airing cupboard, because I think I am using them as an excuse not to get stuck in. Will hope to finish s-room in time for lunch....

I have got no motivation today, I just want to sit in a corner and cry:(
Oh Sandy love, what's the matter? ((HUGS))
(if you've said in a previous post, then I apologise, I can't always keep up with the thread:o)
Whatever is wrong, don't make yourself feel bad about not doing your lists today.
Why not do something for YOU?
How bout you go run yourself a nice bubbly bath and go for a relax? Take a bit of time out until you feel human again.
Thinking of you (and if you feel like having a rant and letting off steam about something, feel free to pm me)

I just saw one on the landing and freaked out!
It's only because I opened the landing window whilst decluttering, first one I've seen for ages though and it wasn't too big.

Hello everyone,
Went a bit awol last week, half term you know. I tried to work in mornings as usual (work from home) then brief flying followed by something nice with the kids, Sea-life centre, walking by the sea, shops and jobs plus library, indoor play area and out for lunch.
Mon, Tues ok but Wed went pear shaped when I was checking DS1s hair prior to barbers trip, and we had some visitors  He's 11 so not as vigilant with him as DS2 so we had 6 adults and lots and lots and lots and lots of eggs, took me ages to pick the blighters off, then check everyone else thoroughly, felt like mamma monkey. Managed to pull lots of my hair out in process as it is curly and long, not good combo with nit comb, ouch. (Bet I've made some of you itchy
).
Then Friday had to take DD (14) to local radio station where she was interviewed live about her experiences of the Air Training Corps - she did fabulously (we sat in Mr Ms carpark to listen before going in to shop) and we were really proud of her as the promised briefing was the length of the Britney Spears song before the interview .
Anyway, not sure what you were all up to the back end of the week, so I'll just issue hugs to all and hope that covers most things. Normal service should resume this week, (although I did level 3s MT and 1s !!!!!! last week so not bad here). Many thanks to Pigpen, Toots and Soappie (esp Pigpen for not making it kitchen today) for keeping us on straight and narrow.
