    Afternoon all,

Had a lovely morning with LadyL - we went to starbucks, had fruit toast and coffee, and put the world to rights (translates as I had a moan about the head, and LadyL very graciously listened to my babbling lol).

Had a bad night's sleep as Moon was snoring, and there was a bad storm, so the rain kept on waking me up, so I got up early (not as early as Moon though) and did some flying. I cleaned the bathroom, put a load of washing on, and cleaned the window frames in the bedroom to get rid of the mildew on them. I also made the bed and sorted out the washing on the floordrobe into the correct piles.

Moon has cleaned the dining table of all of the dust (not the chairs though), and has sort of sorted out his paperwork on the desk, so things are a little bit tidier. I've also chucked out a few bit of paper from the coffee table, so will be off to dust everything properly in a minute once I've put another load of washing on.

Colleague may be coming over this afternoon to see the wood burner and our new bed, and her house was beautifully tidy when I went over on Tuesday, so don't want ours to look like a pit when she comes over. Will try to persuade Moon to do a HHC with me.

    Anyone fancy a HHC 2.15-2.45?

Off to sort out this washing now. Will be back at 2.15 to start the challenge.

    Hi sexymouse,

I am in HHC (need to sort paperwork basket, aka hotspot for all papers).
Being nosy: who or what is Moon? It was full Moon last night, but ... sorry, I am a bit confused... hope it is ok to ask.

Just getting stuff together to leave BF's house and go back to mine (the worst part of the whole week)

As I will have no Internet access till Friday I won't be able to fly with you all, this week, so I'm going to have to guess what is on the list and catch up at the weekend

My main priority will be sort out the hall/stairs/landing which includes a huge de-clutter ready for decorating next week. The thought of washing down 12 doors is filling me with dread so I will try and do a few each night.

I will also catch up with the bathroom and my bedroom as they need a good scrub/dust

    Happy flying for next week,

Hi Tomato - Moon is the nickname I give to my OH. He's currently cleaning the kitchen as we speak. It's one of those nicknames that have evolved from other nicknames - it has no significance really, although I think the full moon affected his mood last night (grumpy). lol

HHC was quite successful. Put another load of washing on. Cleared out my bedside table, as it'd been turned over during the installation of the central heating, and left in a muddle, so I've dusted and decluttered it. Found lots of out of date tablets that have all been bundled up ready to take to the pharmacy in Mr T to dispose of when I next go in.

As I said, OH has nearly finished the kitchen. I've also put lots of OH's shirts away in the wardrobe so they are not hanging over the spare room doorway any more.

I'm off to check on the load that was in the TD to see if it's ready to put away yet, then I think Moon and I will have a late lunch of soup.

Haven't heard from colleague yet so I guess her guests have stayed longer than she expected them to. Don't know if she'll still come over now, but it is motivating Moon to do some cleaning anyway, so I'll continue to encourage him.

    Back from my HHC.
DS1 and I cleaned out the hen house whilst it was snowing hard on us. Now I feel warm. He did most, I just sprinkled wood shavings and made the nest boxes clean and tidy.

Now to clean some window ledges upstairs.

    TD emptied and reloaded
washed pots as I went along
Folded clothes (just need to put away)
    Put LO down for nap
Sorted another vaccum bag full of clothes

Am really  though. I bought new bedding for our bed, a lovely dark purple. Washed and dried it before I put it on so it was all fluffy.
Just taken some of sleepsuits out the machine and they have purple stains on them!!!
Not sure if it's WM or TD or just where he's been in our bed and rubbed on the duvet. Now have a white Muslin in the machine to wash and then dry - process of elimination. Am hoping it's just where he has been lying on our bed otherwise I will hit the roof.

Not got the receipt (didn't think I'd need it!) but is it worth a complaint?

Where does the time go?
