DFS Could mean....Don't f**king sit (on it!) Sorry!0

The frame and leather on the sofa we got are fine, its the foam the seats are made of that was rubbish
and as it was cheap the seats are stiched on so not easy to change foam. Neither of us are large so would have thought 2 years is a little rubbish for the foam to die!! 0 -
We have 2 DFS sofas - 8 years old and going strong. Have just visited their fantastic sale :rotfl:and ordered 2 more for another room. I am worrying we were just lucky with the others now..................0

I cannot believe they charge about £50 for delivery and even then will not take away the old sofas.0

Me too, my sofas are 11 years old & apart from a bit saggy cushions have been great. Ready to replace now, & tbh snobbery wants me to go elsewhere, plus I'm afraid I've just been lucky. However, I'm struggling to find outlets which offer decent quality & choice without being Multiyork prices! Anyone got ideas?A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

come on now peeps....what can you expect from a sofa that came from Doncaster Furniture Sales....the only good thing that ever came from Doncaster was Jeremy Clarkson...and he's only good 'cos of his connection with The Stig...I'm now a retired teacher... hooray ...:j
Those who can do, those who can't, come to me for lessons:cool:0 -
The "specially extended" DFS Winter Sale ended today... is it 8am tomorrow morning for the Spring Sale (exactly the same prices with different banners around the shop)?0

Haha DFS have had a constant sale for at least ten years! Better hurry before it ends!!0

OH's brother and sister in law had 2 sofas delivered from DFS a couple of months ago. The delivery people were very nice - the sofas arrived in immaculate condition seem very comfortable and of course being in the "sale" a semi-reasonable price.... So all in all a good experiance
Oh.. did I forget to mention that when they arrived one was black and one was brown :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Almost as bad - or perhaps worse than the DFS 'sale' is the shop in Ashford that is actually called 'CLOSING DOWN' - so they permanently have a 'closing down' sale. Now that would be funny if it was a joke, but sadly it's absolutely true.0
