    Every-one I know who bought a DSF sofa (or anything else) confirms that they don’t last over 18 months before a major problem - and then DSF don’t care. Buyer Beware? I would say Buyer Avoid!:eek:

    This makes me feel better, I keep moaning that our cheap Argos sofa is falling apart after only 18 months, but we do have a toddler who keeps jumping on it, which doesn't help!! Was thinking about going to DFS for next one to see if it would last longer, but won't bother now!!

    what gets me is some of the prices they reckon the thigs in the sale were before

    like theres a table that looks like two pieces of mdf put together and they reckon its 2000 pounds before and 199 after

    theres alos a bed which is 4 poles put in a rectangle shape and that was 1000 pounds reduced to 99 pounds do they think people are that guilable

    I had similar problems with my DFS suite.
    Twice they sent an upholsterer out to fix it and the third time they said I would have to pay.
    So one quick phone call to Consumer Direct resulting in a carefully worded letter to their head office.
    Before I knew it a HO guy came and looked at my sofa before offering me a brand new suite to the price I paid which was £1,600 :j
    Moral of this story is stand your ground!
    Third time lucky on WW I hope :j
