I am about to do this tomorrow....is the card not linked to the box it is validated on...Im taking the box and the card over to Spain or do I just need take the card over and insert it into the box that is over there?0

Why? If the boxes are being used in seperate locations (which I should point out is against sky's T&C and if they found out could nuke the card) would you need a Quad LNB? Since the Sky+ box has 2 inputs?
Both receivers are being used by the OP's parents in the same location. Even if that were not the case at least a dual LNB would be needed for $ky+.
I do not understand the comment in brackets.RIP independent MSE.

Just to confirm the boxes will be in the same location. Sky are paid a subscription from the UK at a UK address and have been for the last 12 years
Thanks to all who post comps :A :T0 -
When you ring to validate a freeview card what do they ask for and where can this info be found?
taFeudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -

It hasn't required a callback in the last 12 years or so??
You may be right about the free cards but I do wonder how all the expats living abroad have managed all these years. I appreciate it's in Sky's T&C's but they are being paid for the subscription wherever the box is, so why do they care?
I have heard it's to do with the foreign TV companies as opposed to Sky, so they may well have it in the terms & conditions to satisfy our foreign friends.
Does anyone have any hard evidence of someones card being "nuked" because they were abroad??Thanks to all who post comps :A :T0
