There are millions using Norton and McAfee. That doesn't make them good choices. It just means that they are the most heavily marketed, or are installed by default on new systems.
the No1 website for along time was MSN, not becuase people wanted it but because 10s of millions of people had left the default home page there and hit it every time they opened IE
I have used avg on 8 or 9 machines for 4+ years, always upgraded when new versions came out, never had a problem, never had an infection.0
