Oh no. How far through the order process did it let you go? When I read earlier in this thread that someone had phoned to see why their order had been cancelled and they said something about because the code had been used to many times. It wasnt our fault it was going through for each item!

I called as I wanted to place an order for £86

I am FUMING, probably should calm down, but they way I was spoken to shocked me deeply. The lady told me that I had entered the code x amount of times on each order and had abused the code so BHS no longer want my custom. I then told her that actually I had entered it once and if there system was malfunctioning, that was not my fault. She then said BHS do not wish to have the custom of fraudsters-then disconnected me! I was so polite even though I was struggling to be, so her behavior was twice as shocking. I am utterly disgusted at the manner in which a customer wanting to place an £86 order was treated and I shall never spend a penny at BHS again, even if the deal is tempting!

I think that it is really bad customer service, I have been undecided all week whether to order again what I really wanted, after seeing your posts I thought I would try as wanted to know if I was banned too!! Stock in our local BHS is not good and I have looked elsewhere but BHS was the best option with this weekends free delivery. My order has gone through so I will post on here outcome.

It was very random as to whose orders were cancelled or not, really cant make head or tail of it. But I think they should have taken responsibility even if that meant cancelling all orders, as it obviously was their error and some people may not have even realised when they ordered what was going on.
  • The orders you cancelled, did the all have multiple orders of cheap items? eg 10 side plates? Im wondering this as I had 2 orders cancelled but others delivered. The two that were cancelled one had 3 pair navy slippers, 3 pair coral slippers; the other had multiple pairs of socks. The orders I got delivered were for one of different items eg one hand towel, one sherry glass, one shirt etc.

If we can work out why some were cancelled and others werent, perhaps by looking at what made these orders look unusual, next time a glitch comes up we will all have a strategy for success~!

My order that was cancelled was 2 school jumpers and 2 underwear items. Very small order. Didnt do another order as I really wanted the school jumpers and thought if I did several orders I might not get anything! Part of me wishes had tried now. ;)

I placed one order, 6 pkts of tights, 2 sets of teatowels and a pair of baby
pjs. Got a confirmation and tracking number for the whole order. Order came yesterday with only the tights in. Called CS and they were so rude!!
I asked why some of my order hadn't arrived when I had a tracking number for all of it. She told me that the rest was not coming as I had abused the delivery code by inputting it 9 times. I told her that this was nonsense and I had input it once, it was a system error. She told me this was fraud and I wouldn't be getting the rest of the order.

I'm going to return the tights as she also refused a refund for the pjs and teatowels! Quite nervous about it though.:(
  • It was my first order with BHS. I ordered 2 Tshirts, a man's shirt and slippers and a PJ top, all sale items, but the overall savings weren't as big as some peoples. Very pleased with the saving though.

They have to refund you if they aren't sending you the goods. I would write them a stiff letter asking for a retraction of their slander, e.g. that you committed fraud. You just used a code, their system did the rest.

I usually just lurk and say thanks but these reports of BHS accusing us of entering the code multiple times has annoyed me.
I was doing a BHS order anyway and googled for a code and found the free delivery code on hotuk. I didn't take the p**s much as I was ordering a loo brush (£7) and sugar bowl (£6.40) might have even added the kids bras (£7) and 2x knickers (2.50x2) anyway when browsing as were on 342. I only entered the code once ..........not my fault they can't program their website correctly.
I received the loo brush and sugar bowl on wednesday but no sign of the bras and knickers. looks like the sent me the 2 things to equate to the £9.60 I paid so I can't really complain but ......... if they are being rude and accusing then I shan't shop with them again.
I don't recall them ever ringing me when there have been free deliver codes around and I have failed to use them ............all one way with these companies!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(
