Laptop still playing up alot. I ran a full malwarebytes scan in safemode with networking but it wouldn't let me update first (got an error code). Hi Taffy. Just to let you know that we did the basic tests on the SeaTools and they all came back as 'passes', so thankfully it looks like it isn't the hard disk.

My son will probably be doing a system recovery on it in the next day or two.
