Re: MAXFACTOR MONEY BACK GUARANTEE.
I called them and they took my details and told me someone would get back to me, and that was like a whole week ago.
Should I call them back or something?
PS. The Bake In The Box cake was lovely. It did not rise that well, but it tasted great. Try it.0 -
Found a new Taste Guarantee today on boxes of Jordan's new "3 in one" cereal (found on the strawberries variety in Sainsbury's, price £2.48). Look for the blue 'Great Taste or your Money Back' square at the top right hand corner of the box.
It's quite disappointing as they're asking for a stamped self-addressed envelope, and it doesn't look like they'll refund postage, so it'll cost us two stamps.
I hate promotions like this where they're obviously making it as hard as possible for people to claim. (It's ran by one of our friends at Hemel Hempstead.) I think I'll complain to Jordan's directly - this sort of thing really annoys me. :mad:0 -
is there a maximum limit on the amount they would refund
would be tempted to buy at Sainsburys rather than Tesco just to spite them at the two stamps (why should we allow them to get the cheapest money back)Debt of £6300 cleared in 5 years, now ZERO0 -

The maximum is £2.48, which is Sainsbury's price (and Tesco's normal price - don't know when it starts though - could wait until then as I've got another address I could use).0 -

I have never clained any money back from products I did not like so I am quite new to this.
I would like to try the new Hovis bread or the new 3 in 1 Jordans cereals. What do you tell the manufacturers when claiming you money back? Surely they do not taste bad... so could you give any ideas, please?
Thank you! :rotfl:0 -

I can always think of something negative to say(hmm, what does that say about me :rotfl: ). I wouldn't just say that the product tastes bad (unless it really does!), but there's always something that could be improved. The bread could be too salty/not salty enough, the slices too thin/too thick, the cereal too sweet/not sweet enough, or too crunchy/not crunchy enough, the bits of cereal too big/too small, there's too much/too little of an ingredient - take your pick - the possibilities are endless.
The point is, we're all different, and tastes differ and all that, so the manufacturers will expect a variety of responses.0 -

If you are really struggling, you can generally find something that you dislike about the packaging. With things like bread and cereal, you can comment on the freshness of the product. The bread, for example, might lose it's 'fresh' taste quite quickly.
The most important thing is not actually what you say about the product, just that you follow the T&C to the letter. Always double-check whether you are asked to write 'more than' so many words or 'less than' and check if you need to include any tokens etc. The companies involved will send applications back if you don't follow the instructions to the letter!0 -
I got my cheque from Supercook today, which isn't bad as I only sent it off a fortnight ago. In comparison, I'm still waiting for my money from Comfort and Dolcelatte!2015 comp wins - £370.25

Thanks to everyone who posts freebies and comps! :j0
