Re: Typhoo. This promotion has been running for donkeys, and there's always been problems with it (dodgy handling agent or something ). What you have to do if you haven't had your money yet is email or phone Typhoo directly, they are very nice and send you the money very quickly.

I remember I had to do it when I first did this promotion, and the nice Typhoo lady asked whether I wanted a postal order or money-off vouchers. I went for money. :o

Incidentally, just got a pack of the stuff myself yesterday to use for my new address. It's quite difficult, finding these old packs with the guarantee still on them. :)
  • Got my Cravendale hint of today (strawberry)

    It tastes foul

Will have a look for minute maid

Maybe one day I'll find something on a TMF which actually tastes nice!

How are they going to check that only the people who sent in the TMF are actually going o get the money/ vouchers, cos anyone could just phone up and say that they had sent it in :p

They rely on people's honesty, I guess. (And of course, being good MSErs, we wouldn't want to take advantage of that :)).

I've had to chase up a few TMFs in the last few years, and companies never grumble about it (apart from one a couple of years ago - anyone remember the sea salt TMF? Took me absolute ages to get it, and they were really unpleasant about it. Don't buy the salt anymore.). Suppose it's peanuts to them, really, and they'd rather have one satisfied customer than one dissatisfied one.

Has anyone used the 'money back guarantee' on the surf 99 stains ? It says you need to ring the hotline to get the money back, but wasn't sure if they get a bit annoyed or ask lots of questions !! :D
And I can't find the V05 TMF shampoo anywhere !!

Got this back no probs and they are very generous with the vouchers :)

I took someones advice from here (cant remember but thanks:)) and sent them an email saying that it didnt get out felt pen. They sent an email back that if i sent the packaging to the free post addy that they would be happy to refund me which they did. Only took a few days, i got a big box of the surf which cost about £6 and they sent me £10 in vouchers which was terrific.

Saves explaining about your dirty laundry to a stranger lol

"Just a word about the VO5 one, you have to send the tube back, it cost me 84pence in postage, and the stuff only cost £1.60ish, not sure it it is worth the hassle, not sure if you get your postage back." Posted last week by me.

I just got a £4 voucher in the post this morning, so all in all not a bad return as I guess including postage I spent about £2.40ish. A very fast response too.

And thanks Destiny33 - much better than speaking on the phone, I get a bit flustered if they keep asking so many questions ! ;)
