I found the persil money back guarantee on my bottle of liquigel that I bought yesterday in Tesco. Looks like you have to ring them up to get your money back - has anyone done this yet ? Just want to prepare myself for when I phone them. I expect you have to say it hasn't removed a stain or mark or something similar ?

Funny you should say that - I've just got off the phone with them.

I complained to start with (though presumable they ask the nature of your complaint).

They said they would reimburse me.

They asked where I'd bought them, were they bio or non-bio, what the size of the pack was. They then asked for the batch number on the box.

Having answered the questions they said they would send me coupons (!!!) to reimburse me.

In my case I put some washing on overnight and woke to find it looked like it hadn't been cleaned at all. I had to check the softener draw to make sure I'd remember to put the w/m on. The tablets seem to have had trouble disintegrate and had become hard and small.

It would be so good to have a '1st Post' that could be updated with current TMF offer's and where they've been seen like on the 'Magazine' thread. Does anyone think this is a good idea or know how to do it? :-)

I received my coupon from Persil today. £5 off any unilever product.

I've called them up again because I paid £5.49. They're sending another £1.
TBH I think they would send you coupons if you had any sort of complaint regardless of the MBG.

Just realised something... Persil and Surf are both made by Unilever, so if you've done the Surf 99 stain guarantee, they're going to have a record of it, so I personally wouldn't do them on two consecutive days or anything.

Having said that, I did Surf ages ago, so I will give Persil a go soon (having accumulated quite a few packs from the recent Tesco promotion... ). I can't say I think Persil is absolutely wonderful, so don't have a problem with complaining. :cool:
