Think I just got an amazingly good deal.
Went looking for a PSP, only ones I could find were package ones with one game, no memory card and no case. To get what I wanted, and a case and stick would push £180-200.
Sooo, with a little help from my friend (am still in Hastings, Pint's OK, his plane was delayed by two hours but he's texted and phoned and he's skiing about now) I got a PSP, five games, memory card and case for under £140. Yeah, it's second-hand, but it's good quality AND I got two of the games I wanted for about half price or cheaper.
Also, I need to go shopping tomorrow, but it's just me this week, so I may just not get a lot or split it down....** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

I do it all because I'm scared.

wow.........lots of stuff to make meals from, that's quite a haul!!
OK, some ideas, will try to use stuff once, will bold any bits you might need. These are all main meals with any leftovers frozen for leftover lunches.
-Beef curry with rice (beef skirt - do you have a slow cooker? Skirt is excellent but needs lots of very slow cooking)
-beef lasagne
-chicken chasseur
-pork chasseur
-meatballs (buy 1 tin of tomatoes and cook with an onion and mixed herbs for a sauce)
-meatloaf with beans and sausages
-pork loin steaks with breaded jalapeno chillis and homemade onion rings
-Roast belly pork with spiced rice (use an onion, do you have some curry powder?)
-Roast pork with swede mash and roast parsnips
-fishfingers with parsley sauce veg. Cook the root veg and toss in the parsley sauce. If you have any cheese, grate it over the top and pop under the grill
-stuffed lamb breast. Use cooked chopped peppers, mixed herbs, breadcrumbs made from stale bread and cook slowly after sealing the meat in a hot pan
-Beef olives. Bash the frying steak out really thin and make a vegetable mixture filling (ie onions, peppers, garlic, herbs, mushrooms), roll the filling in the beef pieces and secure with cocktail sticks, seal in a pan and pour over a tin of tomatoes and bake. Serve with potatoes
- lamb chop curry
- Tuna, pasta bake. Add tin of tomatoes , cook and mix together. Top with grated cheese and grill
- Beef and onion pie with the small piece of beef. Dice it up to make a pie filling. Make shortcrust pastry, do you have flour and butter?
- pork chops with the tins of spaghetti
- pork chops with homemade potato wedges
- stir fry with the shredded pork and chicken noodles
- shredded beef with rice (do you have any chinese spices?)
- ham and lentil soup with the bones
- marinated lamb ribs. Shout out what sauces/spices you have for a marinade - any honey??
I would use the chicken noodle soup mixes for weekend lunches and dip the cheese and ham croissants in the soupYou just need cereal etc for breakfast and any packed lunch stuff, but there's enough main meals there for 3 weeks.
I think that's everything used up
Except the sprouts :rotfl:"Stay Wonky":D

would you beable to find something out for me please?
I fancy making some of those fluffy scarves and found this wool, but the lady selling it doesn't know whether it can be used on a knitting machine
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260547113036&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123
if you don't mind that is, i don't want to be a nuicance
Mum doesn't think so. Its designed for handknit so the twist will be too tight for machine knit and your fabric will come out stiff.
She says the best way to know for sure is to try it but obviously that's not an option if the woman is selling it on ebay...26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Did anyone see the Virtual Revolution programme? About how social networking and the internet has changed our relationships? They mentioned a quiz at
http:https://www.bbc.co.uk/virtualrevolution where you can find out if you are a fox (thinks associatively) or a hedehog (thinks very linear) and how this matches with our use of the web.
I am a web fox - good result as I do AQA and also use facebook.
Fast-moving - Web Foxes like you are great at finding information quickly, just as real-world foxes are always ready to pounce on an opportunity.
Sociable - Foxes are highly social animals, maintaining complex relationships with the other members of their social group. When you browse the web you are also a social creature, often using social networks, or other sites whose content is created by its users, as sources of information.
Adaptable - Web Foxes are highly adaptable multitaskers, able to do several things at the same time – just like real-world foxes who can rapidly change their behaviour to suit their environments."Stay Wonky":D

OK..............what the bloody hell is Beef Skirt????
almost the tummy area, maybe just a bit further forward. Tough but when cooked very slowly is amazing and just falls apart. Excellent cut of meat. I try to get it where I can. Tesco sometimes call it 'pasty meat' on the butcher's counter."Stay Wonky":D

how about plate pies Claire?
Cheese and potato
cheese, potato and onion
Corned beef and potato
Mince, onion, gravy
are the ones from my childhood.
Basically pop the filling on a dinner plate and cover with shortcrust pastry (flour, butter, water) and cook."Stay Wonky":D
