Well I did go out in the end, but just to meet my friends for lunch. Went to Pizza Hut and used the 241 voucher from this site so that was good. Popped to Morrisons afterwards and got some good offers.
I had a text earlier from one of my good friends who I met at summer camp in the US. She lives in midlands but her Dad lives where I do. She has unexpectedly come down for the weekend so I'll get to see her either tonight if she comes to mine or tomorrow at the rugby match
which will be lovely.
Still feeling a bit icky, more lightheaded than bunged up now. Finger's crossed it will be gone by tomorrow.
WM has been on today and BM will go on later. Think I'll have something easy for dinner, although I do fancy mash, veggie sausage and onion gravy.
Have a good evening all

Best wishes for Tris and Michelle.
Had DD(20) home for a few days so have not been on here.
Feeling more like my old self, managed to hang out washing without help and then go out to library to return books and walk all the way to supermarket and back with two bags of shopping. Also made a hair appt for next week (last one was supposed to be in Nov and I was in hospital).
Got lots of healthy food and snacked on carrot sticks and fruit. Chicken is defrosting for tomorrow and DD(16) had home made pancakes for breakfast which she enjoyed.
Managed to do some internet shopping- got Chilli pepper bag and hoody for DD(16)- Kangol organiser bag for me - pink passport cover for DD(20)- black passport cover for DH- the lot came to under £25 including postage.
Birthday flowers have been ordered for DD's 21st next weekend (special purple carnations with gypsophilia).
I don't want to be spending a lot on new clothes (DH reckons I have lost two stone and still have a way to go) and want to wait till weight has stabilised before stepping on a scale or buying anything major to wear. Really pleased when I found out there is a clothes sale next Saturday morning here so will definately be going to that.
DH just home (the new car which we have had for three weeks had a puncture  ( so see you later.

DS2 arrived just after 11am having left his flat at 5,45am, he has worked like a trojan since he got here, I have the wall unit up in the sitting room, the stuff is on the shelves, I just have to get the things arranged. The kitchen has vastly changed, the plate rack are up the cupboards have been moved and another unit put in between, the glas ware is back.
We have just had toad in ther hole and apple and blackberries crumble for supper, the dishes that were left behind arrived with DS. I celebrated by making the crumble.

My poor cat is no better really:( Having a rubbish weekend and its only saturday, not a good start!
sunnyday, make sure you don't tell the chemist the cream is for your dogs. I went to buy asprin for my old dog and when she said "Is it for you" I replied no its for my dog. She refused to sell it to me and threatened to report me to the RSPCA:eek::rotfl:
Taplady Glad you are feeling better.Sealed Pot Challenge Member NO. 853 :j0 -
Sandy - sorry your cat is no better. Am keeping everything crossed for you.
Taplady - glad you're feeling better. I lost a similar amount of weight in 1 day with the same sort of bug, but unfortunately it all went back on.
Sorry not to mention anyone else, have read the thread in chunks today, so can't remember anything I read earlier!
Only popped on to say I think my side pain is shingles, as some spots have appeared this evening (definitely weren't there this morning, have been checking regularly!).
Painkillers making me feel very odd, so halved the dosage this evening and that was better (although they're not actually helping with the pain at all). Guess it will be back to the docs on Monday to get some anti-virals. May be in search of calomine lotion tomorrow as well!0 -
sandy - (((hugs))) for you and your cat x
ladyshopper - I'm sure the weight will soon go back on too:D hope your shingles aren't too sore - I had it on my back once, only a small patch and it was very painful- the pain came before any sign of the actual shingles. I had to paint some stuff on mine as I remember. Still feels sore occasionally and it was years ago.
managed to get all my jobs done today and have just had a soak in the bath, off to bed soon. Back at work tomorrow for 11 hours, sleep-in and then 10 hours:eek: so not home till Monday teatime.Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Thought I posted earlier....definitely losing the plot!
Hugs to all in need or want, take care all.
Snowing here at present, an inch or so has stayed so far....hopefully it will be gone by morning.
Sleep well all
