As far as a TV license goes. You only need one if you watch/listen/record/download LIVE TV. If you watch catch up TV only then you DO NOT require a license (just check the BBC license terms if you are not sure). :T

What I'm curious about if whether a license is linked to a PERSON or a LOCATION. Lets say I never watch TV at home so my home does not need a licence (I'm pretty sure a license is linked to an ADDRESS and NOT a person). Now what happens if I want to watch live TV on the train while I commute to and from work?
