    1) Your advertising piracy again.. you really are an idiot
    2) Glad your employed but your theory of getting bankrupt and using a mastercard is still idiotic
3)As far as I am aware, a geek is someone who uses the computer none stop? Not someone who goes to work, lives a life, and spends some time of the day on the computer seeting stupid pathetic kids like you posting crap :)

moan moan moan? One post, no one said anything. Two posts, no one said anything, Three posts, no one said anything.... about 20 posts, finally people are saying something.

Ryan, stop being an ar*e and if your going to post, post USEFUL legal moral posts like everyone else. If you can't do that, then go away. Anyone else agree?

I started out posting seriously. But after one or 2 people starting being silly I said things just to wind them up.

I am not advertising piracy. I was just going to explain it's on Channel 10 at 1800 [in Oz]

A geek is anyone who wears glasses/is fat/ is ugly/ is sad/ was bullied at school etc.

    Chill out dude.

Mods should take a look at this, his spoiling this section of MSE.com.

I am staying within in the law, stimulating debate

I have great respect for Martin Lewis.

I can be a tiny bit childish, but so what. Chill. Life's too short.
  • You are staying within the law?
Sorry, calling us geeky losers, fat and ugly is defamation of character.. that if I am not mistaken is a criminal offence (in civil courts anyway).

Thus you are not within the law.

As for being childish, your 25 !!!!!!.. maybe its time to grow up and live a proper life don't you think?

A geek is "an unfashionable or socially inept person" or "an obsessive enthusiast". You can be a music geek, or a physics geek or a trampolining geek as well as much as you can be a computer geek. I, and most people I know, use the word geek mainly in sense 2. I am of the opinion that there is nothing so boring as apathetic people who don't have that sort of enthusiasm about anything. Therefore "geek" is not libellous, it is a compliment. I :heart2: geeks.

Here is a geeky joke courtesy of some of my old flat mates:
Kate (chemist): I hate UMIST. It's too male, and it's full of geeks.
Ian (gay computer programmer cuddling glasses-wearing computer programming bf): I like geeks
    Kate: But they're all eunuchs!
    Ian: Unix is great.

    maths geek joke:
all the exponentials got together and had a party. 2^x was there, 5^x, 11^x - everyone who was anyone! e^x was sitting in a corner on his own, and so 2^x went over to try and get him to join in. 2^x said "you should try and mix with the rest of the party, you'll have more fun that way. you need to integrate." e^x replied, "it wouldn't make a difference!".

(i don't do maths, but when i was told this joke i found it funny, even if the most of the room didn't get it!)

    lol! Fair enough!!

However that opinion is exactly just that, an opinion ;)

If someoen thinks that murdered are amazing, would it mean calling soemone a murder isn't libel? haha :D

Though dont worry I'm only joking and not taking this thing seriously. More important things to worry about like work in 5 mins

I must be the only one that finds ryans posting slightly amusing and entertaining then. I think some people on here take some posts far too seriously and perhaps should learn to be a bit more light hearted.
