    HI ALL

i do 34.5hours a week i pay full rent and CC tax
my monthly wage is about £850 and i get working tax and all that

im thinking about going down to 16 hours a week for a few reasons
1 i dont get to see my son as much as i would like to,
2 , im working for nothing doing 34.5 but if i was doing 16hours i would not be paying as much rent and CC tax and ill get a higher pay in woking tax and child tax therefore i would be better off, ive been on the benafits website and typed in i do 16 hours and the out come was £219 a week

and i would only have to pay £105 rent a month £7 CC a month

so all in all me doing 34.5 hours i have about £400-£500 for my family to live on

doing 16 hours i also worke out i will have £400-£500 to live on, anybody have any info or experiance in this???

    many thanks
Go for it pal, dont take any notice of sad people on here, i worked since i left school and now only work 16hrs a week and i am enjoying spending time with my wife and kids.. if you want any info just ask.. if it will make you happy go for it ignore people on here!!! my situation is-
    WAGES 16HRS A WEEK £96PER WEEK
    CHILD TAX CREDITS £134PER WEEK
WORKING TAX CREDITS £72 PER WEEK CHILD BENEFIT £46PER WEEK
TOTAL £348 PER WEEK WITH FULL HOUSING AND COUNCIL TAX BENEFIT.. SAVING OVER £500 PER MONTH LOVING IT!!!!!

The word is knew. I don't imagine we move in the same circles.

Is someone with your violent nature safe to be left anywhere near a child?
Remember the benefit claimants in the Baby P case.

Reading through his previous posts, his partner has always claimed tax credits - the reason for the new claim is they had split and have got back together.

He's also asking about an interest free loan from the government, again i'm sure that query was nothing to do with benefits or tax payers money but simply about family.
