I have a Lloyds Bussiness a.c and personal current account and have definately not received this letter.

By the way slightly off topic I am thinkg of changing banks purely because of the terrible service I get fromt the indian call centre. I also feel bad because I am not racist but the level of service has been terrible - I always have to be referred and they have not managed to answer 1 query yet.
  • OOO - OOO I know about this !!

OK the FSA have advised ALL banks to properly identify its customers, even those who have had accounts for years. I know from speaking to my guy at LTSB that they have appealed this because there just was not enough time given to comply with the request. I have a number of accounts with them and have not received a letter yet, I might not have to as they have seen ID from me quite recently.
