I think you'll find the rate of tax for self employed is the same as for the employed.
If you haven't moved to Ireland yet why have you defaulted? Why not just leave the money you owe in the account where your DD is coming out of and then close the account when you have paid it off?0 -

I have it retifyed today they admitted they did wrong sending it to collector because they should of contacted me and they took the payment from my credit i just got to wait for the refund for the admin fee,
