  • Do tell why I really want to hear this one

You missed payment/s and now are whining because you have incurred charges you don't want to pay
You want to write the rules but you can't because you already agreed to terms when you purchased initially
Pay it and move END OF

    wrong wrong wrong

I contacted them janurary informed them of a new credit card and offer the details to pay the outstanding balance

they never updated and declined the card details charging my santander account with a overdraft fee of 60.00 quid

secondley payment only failed once yet they passed it to a collections

please read the post again, as for not paying it in ireland im trying to pay it now...today a.s.ap before i move if they choose the route of a debt collections agency they will add charges and keep me waiting 14 more days before they take the money,(when i am in ireland) so its kinda hard and expensive to chase up when i have moved

The bottom line is im trying to pay it, they refuse the money what i owe, They passed it because of once fialure but they was informed yet did not act upon it, but are hesistant on taking me to a debt collections agency!! bad business pratice

    aviod home shopping channel!! crap

Good luck trying to pay with an AIB card when you get one. Laser cards are the most terrible debit cards ever, a Maestro with no issue number and so my OH has mega problems anywhere other than a cash machine in England trying to use it.

Like a previous poster said, get in contact with their head office, explain the situation calmly and ask what the best resolution is. My guess is the account is in limbo at the minute, whilst being transferred to the DCA. Maybe if you speak to someone in the head office they may be a little more understanding of the situation.

And good luck for the move, I'll be following you over sometime this year!

Maybe you should find it yourself and not rely on the residents of this crap country? Have you heard of Google?
  • tried it? cant find anything? look im british also and alot of my friends have moved away from england and agree that its better abroad then england,

look i apoligise about saying it is a crap country but the rate of tax in this country when your self employed is a joke? when my business is in profit every month i have hardly anything to show for it,

There you go again...this country is not England! What about Wales, Scotland and NI. Do you know how expensive Dublin/Southern Ireland is? From what I can glean they are not far behind Greece with their financial woes...tough times ahead tax wise I suspect.

Thanks for the geographic lesson mate! wales have devoluted from the u.k and scotland have there own parliement along soon as northen ireland with the stormont once the police and they there issues sorted, mark my words

Yes im moving to dublin to 3 months then off to europe because of the nature of my business and work and as for tax issues i have none i just dont agree with the issue that i should be taxed to death with a goverment that caused the problems in this country anyway, and see nothing for it such as
    1. better national health services
    2. bank funding crisis(northen rock,rbs ect)
    3. spin spin lies..and more spin
    4. a goverment that naff on everything! takes your money and claims expenses at your taxes as the debitor
    5. less jobs for the girlfriend...more jobs in europe an ireland
Yes ireland has issues but the euro is stronger then the pound, And most of the countries are out of recession almost apart from britian, :Dmajor investment is far better then britan from europe making and creating more work.

that have friends over the world from my area who have moved to austraila, ireland and other places...there doing well for themselves better pay and working hours and lifestyle.
