    Hi

Over on the alerts thread, someone has said there are 'novelty shops' available on Abai, however I can't find any either available or booked. I was wondering if I'm missing one of their clients from my list - if anyone knows what these shops are, would they mind PM'ing me?

    Many Thanks!

They don't ask what the difference is - they only ask whether you know what the difference is. I reckon "Yes" should do the trick!

There are 300+ sites offered, from which 100 will be chosen. Surely anything that makes your application more attractive will be to your advantage. "Yes" is factually correct but not very inspiring !

    Hiya D,

That Blinkin Hindley job is near me, I have done it 4 times in Three years and not done it for over 6 months (adequate for rotation rule) however, the system still says I don't meet criteria, lol. maybe I have just done it too many times full stop......:o

I'd happily take it today but it aint havin any of it. The others are too far, lol.

    Have PM'd you!

Not many of these around the country and I think they've all gone now - I got one of our local ones and it looks like they've all been booked now. Some could have been there a couple of days but I only got the email before.

Novelty shops on Abai - a lot have gone already though................

I had a phone call yesterday to ask me if I would do my local one this Saturday (and it had to be Sat only). For some reason it looks like some have not been on the website.

I'm pretty sure I know who the client is but I can't seem to add them using the same technique as the other clients - how did you get on?

I got an email about them (Sat only visit) and yet I couldn't see our one's on the list with the others - I emailed them to say I could do it. They all went within minutes by the looks of it - probably by the time I posted the Alert they'd all gone so sorry folks!

Have replied to all the PM's now I think...................:)

  • I've just received the following from TNS:

"TNS RI aims to provide the highest standard of service to clients. Our goal is to deliver the finest quality results within agreed deadlines.

We have noticed that the number of visits you have cancelled has recently increased.

Whilst fieldworkers have the facility to cancel a visit, we would like to remind you that this is for emergency use only. We expect visits to be completed on the agreed date and within the specified timeframe. Cancellation should only be considered in exceptional circumstances.

Please register this as your first warning which will be logged in your work history. The standard of your work needs to improve or you may be blocked from some projects and ultimately could be removed from the TNS RI panel."

Now, given the number of assignments I've done for them in the past and the number of spots I've got them out of, you'd think they'd lay off with the veiled threats. As it is, I'll just consider this as another reason to not work for them.

I got a phone call on Tuesday to do my local one on Saturday - the jobs weren't showing on the website then...
