You might have noticed (or not :rotfl:), but I'm one of the people who used to actively post on here and did quite a bit of work in setting up additional info for posts 1 & 2. I got fed up of the !!!!!ing so when someone suggested setting up a group on Ebay to talk in private, it seemed ideal. Yes, we disagree and we've already disagreed about some of the recent posts on here, but we don't !!!!! or fall out about it, but there you go.
We do actually have all sorts of shoppers on there and I'm one of the people who does RE reimbursement jobs only, but that may be because it's just a hobby for me and I have plenty of spare time, so do it for the freebies, not the income. So don't mind making a "paper loss" for the taxman.
Yes, I know all the arguments about my time etc., but I agree with those on here - it's my time, so how I spend it is up to me and I'm sorry it drives down the fees for those who use it for income, but it's what's known as a free economy and everything finds its price / level. You can't stop people doing jobs for just reimbursement if they want, ok I'd rather have a small fee too, but yeah, I'll do a haircut, pizza, or Italian brothers, fish restaurant, funny restaurant for a "free" meal and offset some of my tax - so what?
Those of us that do this will just disagree with others who think we're nuts, but hey, it'd be boring if we were all the same!
TG wasn't having a go at you specifially millierose, which you'll see if you read back over it, but I can understand how it was maybe taken that way. Purplemunchkin, you were having a go at TG, however.
Thanks to those who have tried to lighten the mood.
Anyway, I'll bow out now, leave you all to it, and retreat again for another 6 months...:D
Have fun and don't take life too seriously - no one gets out alive :eek:0 -

I used to think I could consider teaching while I was still at school, but it doesn't have the same appeal any longer. My father is about to do his pgce at 54 so I suppose I could save it up for later in life as well. I don't do blood either, so that's out. God - being a lottery winner would suit me - then I could keep on mystery shopping just for something to do. It just mildly worries me that my peers all seem to have ambitions and I'm ... slightly surprised that I'm more or less a grown up.0 -
EDL - English Defence League - fascists/rascists, good chums with the likes of the BNP and the National Front
UAF - 'Unite Against Fascism', though sadly it's turned into "gang of thuggish Asians looking for an excuse for a fight"
So basically the white supremacists and the thuggish Asians choose a town and have a big street brawl. It's very civilised.
TBH it reminded me of the last time I had a night out in town....but in daylight, and RE wonder why they can't get anyone to shop their nightclub.:AIt’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I'm not intending to grow up any more than I already have. I'm too old for that.I never planned to grow up anyway, so full marks to me for achieving!
Are you, perhaps, asking me what I want to be when I retire? Easy answer: busy!0 -

:rotfl:oh look, my long lost twin :rotfl:. If it's any consolation my friends and colleagues are all only doing our jobs till we find out what we really want to - we're very good at eliminating jobs but not so good at identifying what we do want. My last Chief Exec found himself looking at a station cleaner & thinking he quite fancied sweeping up for a living, on the basis he wouldn't feel compelled to work at home in the evenings :rotfl:.
With regards to age - I'm not old enough to be this age :cool:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Morning all
I have a day off today from MS, been quiet all week did 3 yesterday 2 which were good fun. Was talking to my BIL who works for a bank and said that they got MS shopped last week and that the shopper got the name of the person wrong as they didn't have anyone by that name who worked there but the reported still counted. I asked if he could spot the MS and he said as they get lots of people asking about the same thing it is often quite hard.
Have a good day all.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 102

Oops! After submitting a report to GYP yesterday for a burger place, I woke up during the night in a panic as I realised I'd made a mistake with my timing points. Basically I'd added together point one and point 3 to equal the total service time!!!
I've emailed GYP this morning to let them know and to tell them the right timings and will probably be sacked now...
Has anyone else done anything like this before?!
I totally blame my OH as he wouldn't shut up while I was submitting the report (that's my story and I'm sticking with it!)0
