Ive been doing mystery shopping for nearly 3 years and in the beginning i found this forum invaluable - really useful information. Now its divided into 2 - those that think there above everyone else who can do nothing but give catty snide remarks and think they own this forum. And then theres the other people that are trying to make a small amount of money who ask questions, get involved etc but always seem to get shouted down.

TractorGirl you are one truely self righteous peice of work.
Millerose i feel for you - i too would have taken offence to what was being said. I too am in the same position as you. Stay at home to my little girl making some extra money so i can take her out and about. I enjoy the work and i see all the fees & reimbursements as a small bit in a larger picture. Im happy to do the small jobs because added together they bring in a decent amount of money. Does this mean i dont take my job seriously - does this mean i stand outside the stores and make up the jobs.

Some of you certainly need to be taken down a peg or two.

What's that got to do with the price of baked beans.. ! Surely all of us who work still have to do the washing/chores.. unless your paid so well by MS'ing you can afford staff....!
Because Millerose saidI want to do MS as a hobby to get me out of the house and into a different environment. ........ A 15 minute walk during the day to a local retailer isnt going to take much of my time. I would only be washing or doing other chores. Nor is sitting at the computer writing a report in the evening when otherwise I would be watching tv, ironing or reading on the internet.
Now, as you say, if the job was to pay properly she could employ someone else to do the chores0 -

What utter rubbish -TG was NOT self righteous she stated facts-she made it clear she wasn't accusing Millie of dishonesty but commented some people do cut corners or worse-and she's right-they do.
No wonder so many of the regulars have moved elsewhere -and people are scared to ask advice in case they are mocked. I don't agree with Millie that RE pay well and I suspect in time neither will she-but she's happy with what she earns right now but some people aren't happy unless they are feeling superior or putting someone else down....or causing trouble. This forum has changed and not for the better. Lay off TG she's one of the old timers who still helps newbies and doesn't put them down-unlike some !I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

|Wow, second night in a row i've logged on and have to spend half hour catching up on the fight thats broken out lol
\I agree with the comments about the forum being split. I've been an active member for 3 month and have seen some nasty comments, fights and plain slagging off.
on the other hand when i asked a question last night 5 people kindly responded.
It's rather odd how split personality the forum is lolI get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0
