Anyone else having problems accepting the 'sports' jobs on RE??
Me too - I have tried different ones and get the same response, one of the buttons is incorrect I think but cannot work out which one, I have given up now.

Squeaky I am a trained nurse (ex). I wouldn't wait around for them writing to the doctor. Make an appointment now and tell the doc and get an immediate referral. Glaucoma is regarded as an eye emergency and needs to be treated quickly..

I don't mean to scare you but that is my advice. Keep us all posted and good luck. It is easily treateable with eye drops and sometimes water pills to reduce fluid.

    I agree!

I'm a practice manager and know that by the time the optician has written to the GP, it's been posted, arrived, opened, scanned, THEN passed to a GP who then dictates a referral and gives it to the secretary to write and arrange appointment you're looking at 2 weeks!!

Glad you are ringing in the morning, don't let the receptionist put you off either. :)

would somebody be kind enough to tell me what the sports shops are?

Just had pizza arrive on RE. Entered my postcode into their website to be told my local store is..........(not on RE) and they don't deliver to my address. I'm only 3 mile away?????

Anyway, i see nothing on the sports front. I have thought for a while i don't see all the releases but if somebody could tell me the name i would know if the shop was in my area out of curiosity.
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

Thanks for all the replies about my horrendous eye test yesterday.
In hindsight I should have come clean and given my correct details...thinking about it today I felt that I had put the MS`ing before my own health, but anyway...... went for my other one today, using my real details and they picked the problem up instantly. I have Glaucoma in my right eye which is putting pressure on the back of the eye and that is why I have been getting lots of headaches.
They have written to my doctor and a hospital appointment can then be booked. I need 2 referals apparently. Am feeling much relieved this evening!:)

Best wishes, hope it can all be sorted for you soon and the headaches come to an end:)
