I'm going Thursday. Not heard anything about it though .. was just wondering if anyone going tomorrow knew anything! We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Thanks for all the replies about my horrendous eye test yesterday.
In hindsight I should have come clean and given my correct details...thinking about it today I felt that I had put the MS`ing before my own health, but anyway...... went for my other one today, using my real details and they picked the problem up instantly. I have Glaucoma in my right eye which is putting pressure on the back of the eye and that is why I have been getting lots of headaches.
They have written to my doctor and a hospital appointment can then be booked. I need 2 referals apparently. Am feeling much relieved this evening!:)0 -

Glad you know what the problem is now. And thank heavens for MS-ing - would you have gone for an eye test if not?
Hope they manage to sort you out. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Wasn`t due another test for 18 months which is why I used a different name and address! Glad I got greedy for the pitiful pay that was offered and took the job only because I had another assignment in the same shopping mall anyway!
PS Ru going training on the 25th?0 -

Squeaky I am a trained nurse (ex). I wouldn't wait around for them writing to the doctor. Make an appointment now and tell the doc and get an immediate referral. Glaucoma is regarded as an eye emergency and needs to be treated quickly..
I don't mean to scare you but that is my advice. Keep us all posted and good luck. It is easily treateable with eye drops and sometimes water pills to reduce fluid.Clique member no 1.:D0 -
