The response was rude and the cretin felt the need to come into this thread and suggest I was a cheeky n00b who had dared insult his Superior Being. I can get over an incorrect post in the alerts thread, but being unfairly insulted by a bit of an idiot is irritating.
You PM'ed me giving it the "look at me, I'm telling people what to do" treatment. And you were told politely where to poke it.
If you dont like it, there is an X button on the right hand corner of the screen, may I suggest you press it? Then we wont have to deal with incompetent prats like you! :T0 -
Good God, i left work at 4.30 and it's just taken half hour to read the thread.
No ppcorn but will be getting cinema ice cream later. Will this be an all night thing?:jI get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -

No, it was a generic and polite form of address - appropriate for a polite PM to someone you don't know, in which one makes a polite request. Your username was not one I was familiar with (and indeed a brief perusal of your post history reveals you haven't posted in quite some time), so it did not seem inappropriate to politely remind you of the rules surrounding posts in the alerts thread. Your response was not polite. Choosing to insult me in a public thread was not polite. Pray explain how I am "incompetent" - I have never posted anything other than new and relevant alerts. As far as I can tell, the only thing you are is a vicious bully.0 -

I agree with the above post. I made a mistake and posted on a wrong thread. Could you have not PMed me and explained politely that what I did was wrong and advise me to removed it quickly? Instead of the aggressive post with an angry face?0 -
