My pizza place is a good 4 miles away. No one took it on the last wave and it was just sitting there. I did email and ask but never got a reply so obviously it was delivery to address only. Shame as I was willing0

RE playing up again. Just posted an alert for pub jobs on RE. Listed under retail. Not bad jobs if the fees posted are correct. Tried to accept one and got an error message before it vanished. But would let me accept another one? Too tired to be bothered with them tonight.0

The same thing kept happening last night with the stations- kept getting error messages. If someone is loading the jobs on, you would think that they would look into why none are being taken. There are loads of sports in my area and they are still there. Can't see the pubsI aspire to be mortgage free by July 2014 :staradmin0 -

Had a phone call from gap today, they kept ringing persistently and evenutally when I answered they ask me to make a 100 mile round trip for an urgent burger job. And what could they offer me in return?? One measly convenience shop and no extra fee. Are they actually crazy?! They guy sounded like he was begging but I just continued to laugh at him and politely decline the offer.0

You mean they expected you to pay your own petrol. That's like me going from Glasgow to Edinburgh for a burger and back. And with the price hike in petrol would cost me about say £15. As you say they must be stark raving mad. No wonder all these Aussies are running about in that TV prog Underbelly killing each other.Clique member no 1.:D0 -
Morning all
Still a bit under the weather here but pickling up rightly! I have some worked booked for today but I think I can reschedule it all for tomorrow without too much hassle. I'm sure driving while dizzy wouldn't be much different from driving drunk so I think I'll avoid that one!
TG thanks for that contact info yesterday - managed to get in touch with her last night and hopefully get some work.Climbing back on the OS wagon after a short vacation to Recklessness

They seem to have no concept of distances and travel in the UK: many's the time I've battled to explain that x place is 50 miles from my home, entails various queuing blackspots and has no free car parking when I get
there The reaction I usually get makes me realise that 50 miles X 2 is a "nip down the road and back" in some parts of Australia!
Also, they assume that, just because I have visited a particular site once or twice over the last couple of years, I am happy to make it a regular occurrence.
Explaining that I have no desire to do their petrol assignments when I am already overloaded with petrol assignments (that pay me a fee) is an ongoing fight as well!0 -

Yes they did  can't believe they even wasted the phone call. They must think I have nothing better to do than waste my time and petrol doing them a favour :rotfl:0 -

Your quite wise JC. Not a good idea to drive if you are dizzy ( although I do it all the time LOL). Hope you feel better soon.Clique member no 1.:D0
